What it is
This base makeup sponge is made up of five sponges in one, shaped like a daisy. Its fine, soft texture and moderate elasticity allow it to fit gently on the skin, for a smooth finish. By using different sides on areas such as the nose and mouth, you can achieve a beautiful finish. Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I prefer liquid foundation, and until now I've had trouble with it blending into my skin after applying it, but using this sponge has improved that! It fits perfectly around the sides of my nose and eyes. It gives a natural finish without being too thick. This is my third purchase!
The rounded edges make it easy to use in small areas. It works great with pressed powder and powder foundation.
I bought this after a sales associate recommended it to me when I was buying Mary Quant cosmetics! I found it very pleasant to use, so I'm buying it again!
I was attracted by the case it came with. I have a vague memory of it, but it looks a bit similar to Shu's five-sided sponge. It's a squeaky sponge. I tried it with water, but it wasn't very absorbent and dripped, so it wasn't suitable. Another drawback is that all five pieces are connected, so you have to separate them one by one with scissors. Also, the surface becomes crumbly with use, and it gets on my skin when I'm applying foundation. It's neither good nor bad.
The five sponges are arranged in Marikwa's signature daisy design. The teardrop-shaped sponges resemble flower petals, making for an outstanding design. They're durable, washable, and reusable, making them surprisingly cost-effective. There are a lot of great 3D sponges out there these days, so I don't think this one stands out as particularly outstanding, but I'd be thrilled to receive it as a gift.
