I bought this to carry around with me. The silicone tip is great for applying glitter, and it doesn't get your hands dirty. You can apply it to the area you want rather than your hands.
As the name suggests, it is a small tip. The cute daisy logo is double-ended with sponge and silicone, making it easy to use and convenient to carry around. It would have been better if it came with a carrying cap or bag.
I bought this long before glitter could be applied with such good color, and I wash and reuse it frequently. It lasts a long time. It's a shame that it's no longer on sale. The silicone part is special, so glitter and powder don't soak in like regular tips, so you can apply a small amount with good color. It also adheres well. It's soft and puts less strain on the skin when applying. The tip is narrow, so you can apply dots in small areas. It's very easy to use. The regular tip on the other side is also a soft sponge that is gentle on the skin. It's small, so it's just the right size for applying eyeshadow to the double eyelid. I also use it on my under-eye bags.
I was already using Mary Quant's silicone tips (long type), and purchased the twin tips to use with the palette that comes with the eye opener. Unlike the silicone tips I bought at the 100 yen store, the color and glitter (especially the glitter) adhere beautifully to my eyelids. The price is high when purchased as a set with the palette, but the eye opener is also reasonably priced, so overall I think it was a good purchase.
I used this silicone tip a few years ago. I later lost it and used the tip that came with the palette, but I've since gone back to silicone tips. I think silicone tips are more durable than sponge-based ones. Also, it's stress-free because you can apply it exactly where you want it. It's handy to keep one in your pouch.
