Single eyeshadows from ADDICTION have always been a quiet obsession for those who know Japanese makeup, and The Eyeshadow Prism is the format that makes the most of what the brand does best. The powder-gel hybrid texture feels bouncy and fresh when you pick it up with a finger or brush — not chalky, not sticky — and it melts into the lid so evenly that the colour looks like it came from inside the skin rather than sitting on top of it. What makes it genuinely different from most shimmer shadows is the colour travel pearl technology: the pigments physically shift hue depending on the angle of light, so the shade you see straight on is never exactly what someone else sees from the side. The permanent range covers soft, wearable options — 001PR Happy Tears (clear shimmer white), 002PR Dance in the Air (sheer glamorous grey), 003PR Blood Moon (warm terracotta), 005PR Just Gifted (deep sparkling plum) — while the Summer 2025 limited shades push into more seasonal colour territory: coral, mint blue, yellow-green, lilac, orange-red, and blue. All 12 shades are fragrance-free and designed to be worn alone or layered.
Key Benefits
Key Benefits
(1) Colour travel pearl pigments shift and shimmer differently from every angle — the look actually changes as you move
(2) Powder x gel hybrid formula melts onto the lid for skin-fused wear without fallout or patchiness
(3) High-gloss adhesion film locks the shimmer in place so the finish stays vivid, not patchy, throughout the day
Key ingredients
Key ingredients
(1) Colour Travel Pearl Pigments (Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite): large-flake iridescent pearls responsible for the multi-angle colour shift and high-gloss effect
(2) Dimethicone + Hydrogenated Polyisobutene: form the silky, skin-melting base that allows the powder-gel texture to adhere smoothly without drag
(3) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer: the key high-gloss adhesion ingredient that forms a clear thin film over the pearls for long-lasting brilliance
(4) Tocopherol (Vitamin E): antioxidant that supports the stability and skin-comfort of the formula

FAQs
FAQs
Q: What does "colour travel pearl" mean in ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Prism?
A: Colour travel pearls are special pigment flakes that reflect different hues depending on the angle of light hitting them. In ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Prism, this means the shade you see looking straight in the mirror isn't the same as what someone sees from the side — the colour physically shifts and shimmers as you move, which is what gives it that prism-like effect.
Q: Is ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Prism best applied with fingers or a brush?
A: Both work, but for maximum colour intensity and the most vivid colour travel effect, pressing with a fingertip is the most effective method. The warmth of the finger helps the powder-gel formula melt more seamlessly into the lid. A brush gives a more diffused, sheer result — useful for blending the edges of a look.
Q: Can ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Prism be worn on the cheeks or other areas?
A: Yes — the formula is gentle and skin-friendly enough to press lightly onto the inner corner, brow bone, or the high points of the cheeks for a lit-from-within effect. Shades like 001PR Happy Tears, 103PR Moonlit Mirage, and 109PR Starry Dawn are particularly well-suited to multi-use application.
Q: Which shades of ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Prism are permanent and which are limited?
A: The permanent shades are 001PR Happy Tears, 002PR Dance in the Air, 003PR Blood Moon, and 005PR Just Gifted. The shades 102PR through 109PR (Coral Glow, Moonlit Mirage, Twilight Whisper, Breeze Whistle, Summer End, Sweet Phantom, Sunset Ember, and Starry Dawn) are Summer 2025 limited edition releases.
Q: Does ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Prism crease or transfer throughout the day?
A: The high-gloss adhesion ingredient forms a clear film over the pearls and the formula is specifically designed to lock onto the lid and resist movement. ADDICTION products are made in Japan with precision formulation, and the skin melt technology generally keeps the finish in place through a full day of wear.
How To Use
How To Use
Tap a fingertip or a flat shader brush lightly into the pan of ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Prism — a small amount picks up a lot of shimmer, so start with less than you think you need. Press (don't drag) onto the lid, inner corner, or the centre of the eye for a focused point of light. Build intensity by pressing a second layer directly on top. For a more diffused all-over shimmer, sweep on with a fluffy brush using a light hand. The Eyeshadow Prism can also be pressed over a matte base shadow to add dimension, or worn alone on bare lids for a minimal, luminous effect. Because each shade is 1g and compact, it fits easily inside a compact case for on-the-go touch-ups.

This was my first time buying a single-color eyeshadow, but it was easier to use than I expected because you can combine them in so many different ways! The powder is moist and adheres firmly to your eyelids! Just applying it makes you look so sophisticated! There are so many color variations, and I want to try other colors too!
I bought the limited edition 109PR. I love ADDICTION eyeshadow and have a few other colors, but this one is amazing! 109 looks dark, but it's actually quite light when you apply it. It's a sheer navy, so pair it with pink eyeshadow or layer it with my ADDICTION marriage shade for a cool, refreshing look.
I purchased three shades released in the summer of 2025: 103PR Moonlit Mirage, 106PR Summer End, and 108PR Sunset Ember. They're highly transparent, with a pearly center and a touch of fine glitter. The tiny glitter particles give them a sophisticated sparkle, which I love. 103 is a yellow pearl. I saw a great photo of it layered over 108 on Instagram, so I bought it to replicate that look. While some gold shades can be a bit too dark, the yellow adds a nice brightness! It's perfect for summer, but it could also be used as an accent in any season. 106 is a blue pearl. It doesn't have a strong blue color, so I apply it thinly across the entire eyelid. I love the brightness and transparency it gives! 108 is a red pearl. Of the three shades I bought, this one had the most color payoff. When mixed with 103, it can also take on an orange hue. Using 108 as a base brings out the strong red, creating a cool look. I'm experimenting with different shades, like using 103 only in the center. I'm so glad I bought it! After the revamp, Addiction's eyeshadows had pastel-toned base colors, so I think they would suit those looking for brighter, more defined colors.
It's easy to use on its own, and versatile enough to be enjoyed in combination with other eyeshadows. The powder is smooth, adheres well to the eyelids, and doesn't crease over time. The depth of color creates a striking eye look even with simple makeup.
This is my first time using ADDICTION, and I'm a cool-toned skin type who doesn't like dull or yellow tones and needs a translucent look. I bought it after seeing a makeup artist's dreamy makeup look on social media using 102, 106, and 109. The powder is smooth and lasts well, and the color is easy to adjust even for someone like me who isn't very good at makeup. I really like it. 102 is listed as a coral, but on my eyelids it turns into a pale cherry blossom-like pink without any yellow or dullness, and it's easy to layer with other products. I'll use 102 as a base on the inner corner of my eye, 106 on the pupil, and purple 109 or blue 106 and 109 on the outer corner, creating a dreamy look that I can enjoy regardless of the season. (*^ ^*) It's limited edition, but I love it so much that I wish it would become a regular item. The names of each color are also poetic and lovely. ☆*
