What it is
This is a renewed product of the Pelican Natural Soap series. Made with traditional Japanese organic ingredients. Contains mugwort extract, a moisturizing ingredient, to leave your skin feeling smooth and silky after washing. It uses fragrances made from upcycled ingredients. It has a gentle mugwort scent.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

The mugwort soap I had been using until now seems to have been discontinued, so I couldn't find it anywhere, and I bought this for the first time! I heard it's good for acne, so I use it when I get a pimple! It has a nicer scent than the one I used before, and it's soothing! It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing!
I love Pelican Soap because it's reasonably priced and I can try out a variety of products! I'm not sure if it's the natural mugwort scent, but it's not too strong and is easy to use.
It smells great and is organic so it's safe to use.
It's that time of year when dryness starts to become a concern. This is a great product that leaves my sensitive, dry skin smooth, even though my husband has sensitive, oily skin. My husband washes his entire body, face and body with this one product, and his oily face became moisturized and smooth after just one wash. I don't know how it works in the summer, but I think it's a great soap for the fall and winter.
I'm buying this again. It has a grassy, but not harsh, mellow scent. I like that the soap cleanses cleanly and doesn't cause any skin problems.
