[What is sandalwood?] Sandalwood is an evergreen tree found in a wide range of areas, including India, Indonesia, and Australia. Sandalwood from India (Mysore region) is called Laoshan sandalwood. It is highly prized as a fragrant wood and is often used as the main ingredient in incense.
