To be honest, I can't really tell if it's a treatment, but it does remove stubborn mascara thoroughly and gently. I like that I don't have to rub my eyes when cleansing.
I thought 3,000 yen was expensive for a mascara remover, but I bought it three times. After that, I wanted to find a cheaper product that only removed mascara, so I cheated on it with a 1,000 yen mascara remover from Korean cosmetics that had a reputation for removing mascara in one go. However, it left my lower eyelids rough and dry. (I ended up buying eye care cream, which ended up costing even more...) I finally noticed the difference when I stopped using THREE products because of their commitment to using natural ingredients, and their products that not only remove mascara but also care for it. I will continue to use them! Despite its gentle formula, it thoroughly removes even strong waterproof mascara. It doesn't remove mascara in one go, so I need to comb it through my lashes several times to blend it in.
Once I got used to it, it removed a lot of makeup, so I gave it another star. I'm 21.3 years old, have natural eyelashes, and now that masks are prolonged, I mainly wear eye makeup. I figured a gentle remover would be better, so I bought this soon after it was released. I apply it to my lashes and blend it in, just like applying mascara. I heard at the store that leaving it on for a while helps it blend in better. I've since been using the same THREE point makeup remover. It doesn't remove makeup super well, and it's hard to tell the difference between this and Orbis' limited edition glitter mascara (I happen to have it, and I often confuse them). The price isn't exactly reasonable for the amount you get, but it's packed with treatment ingredients like argan oil, olive fruit oil, and shea butter, so I continue to use it, believing it must be gentle.
