Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It lathers well!
I bought the mini pouch and used it for the first time. I was surprised at how well it lathered. I have semi-long hair, and even a small amount lathers it up quite a bit, so I adjusted the amount I used the second time and was able to wash my hair several times with just one pouch. My hair didn't feel itchy or rough during or after washing, and it was moisturized and manageable without using conditioner. It had a lovely scent reminiscent of natural lavender.
I'm happy that the trial price is so low. I only need this one shampoo from House of Rose. It leaves my hair looking great. It's made in Japan and has a lovely scent, so I've purchased it several times. I'd like to buy it again.
