This is an oil-in type cleansing gel. When you pick it up, the texture is not too loose and is just the right amount of soft. When you spread it on your skin and rub it into your makeup, it gradually becomes lighter and turns into an oil. It blends well with makeup and I'm satisfied with how well it removes makeup. For point makeup that is difficult to remove, I make sure to rub the gel into it thoroughly.
