How to use
(1) Take the primer with your fingers and place it in five spots. Take the primer on your middle finger and apply it to your forehead, both cheeks, nose, and chin. (2) Spread it over your entire face with your fingers. Starting from the wide areas of both cheeks, spread the primer in a radial pattern with your fingers. Apply a thin layer to areas prone to creasing, such as around the eyes. (3) Apply multiple layers to problem areas. For areas with noticeable pores, apply multiple layers from bottom to top, working against the pores' direction. This creates the perfect canvas for your next foundation. It can also be used as an eyeshadow base and is perfect for touching up your base makeup during the day. Apply directly over foundation to areas prone to creasing. It imparts a translucent, natural glow for a long-lasting, beautiful finish.

The finish feels like my skin has been beautifully brightened. I like the natural tone-up, but it doesn't make my pores less noticeable, so it's neither good nor bad.
A small amount goes on well, and it brightens and brightens the skin naturally. It pairs perfectly with Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup. I was surprised that it didn't smudge, even on days when I sweated a lot. I have a skin type where other primers tend to show pores, but this one didn't show them, even at night, which impressed me. However, because the SPF is low, I'm always worried about sunburn, so I use it in combination with Elixir Day Care Revolution Brightening. If you don't mind sunburn, there's no need to double-up, and this alone will create a beautiful primer.
It brightens the skin tone when first applied, but I feel like it tends to break down over time on oily skin in the T-zone. I also don't really like the distinctive petroleum-like scent.
I don't think it has much of a tone-up effect... I haven't noticed any improvement in makeup retention yet, but I'd like to continue using it.
