I definitely felt that it didn't dry out my skin. I was using a non-shine primer in the summer and it started to feel tight, but since switching to this, it's been much improved. I still feel dryness in the evening, but I use a mist as needed. It tones my skin slightly and doesn't feel like it's floating. I bought the purple one, but I'm not sure if the purple one is that effective. I also switched to Primavista's cushion primer at the same time, and there were no compatibility issues.
I use Maquillage's green primer in the summer, but every fall I switch to a more moisturizing primer, so this year I tried this one. Incidentally, Elegance's green has a whitish finish, and when applied to specific areas, it tends to stand out in those areas, which can be problematic for dry skin. Cica Green doesn't make much difference, but the added moisturizing benefit is that you can use more. Primavista's green doesn't overpower or overpower even when applied to the entire face, blends well, and doesn't bleach out too much. It spreads easily and lightly, and even when applied only to redness, it doesn't create uneven color with other areas, making it easy to layer and adjust. It's moisturizing enough for me, and it seems to protect against winter dryness. It's easy to find at drugstores, so I plan to buy it again when I run out.
I tried the famous sebum-preventing formula, but it was rough and dry, so I bought this dry-preventing formula. It has a rich, creamy texture that glides on effortlessly. It's as easy to apply as La Roche-Posay. It doesn't build up too much, so it naturally tones up my skin without leaving a white cast and also gives it a translucent look. The lavender isn't too blue, so it doesn't make my complexion look dull. I sometimes wear this alone on days when I don't want to wear heavy makeup or for short outings. If you don't care about coverage, it's better to avoid layering foundation on top to maximize the translucent look. However, it wasn't particularly moisturizing. It's not particularly moisturizing for dry skin. It's perfect for summer, but I wish it was a little more hydrating in the middle of winter.

It's lightweight and spreads well on dry, flaky skin. I use the beige shade, but it's a slightly lighter beige. It's perfect for winter, when skin tends to get dry.
