I've used liquid bases before, but I always end up coming back. I think I've used five of them already. Be careful not to use too much! If you use too much, it will dry out. Make sure to use it carefully.
I can't imagine doing my makeup without this. I can't do it without it. It definitely changes the way my eyeshadow lasts. I've repurchased it several times. You only need a small amount at a time, so it doesn't wear off quickly. However, it may be difficult to use until you get used to it. It has a fairly firm texture, so you squeeze out a rice-grain-sized amount onto your finger and apply it to both eyelids. A rice-grain amount is enough for both eyes. Applying too much can actually make the eyeshadow more likely to smudge. After spreading it evenly to the edge of your eyelid, lightly tap the entire area with the pads of your fingers. I think the instructions said to tap it on, not swiftly. It's quite sticky, so if you try to apply eyeshadow right after applying it, it smudges a lot. I usually wait while I apply makeup to other areas. Also, this cream tends to get on the base of my lashes. It leaves a white residue at the base of my lashes, or my eyeshadow sticks to the cream, turning my lashes the same color as the eyeshadow. That's why I'm struggling with this, but I just can't trade it for the price...
I purchased this online from Suzykirei, and was surprised at how small it was when it arrived, but a little goes a long way, so this amount is more than enough. You only need a really small amount on your fingers. It spreads smoothly without any catching. It still works well as a base, and it gives your eye makeup a vibrant color. As I'm getting older, I mainly use products that contain serum ingredients for wrinkle reduction around the eyes, and I think this is a pretty good product for such a low price. I can see why it has such a good reputation.
The best thing about this product is that it's great value for money. The firm texture makes it easy to use, and once applied, it doesn't crease around the eyes and the eyeshadow color pays off well.
It has a firm texture, but if you rub it between your fingers and then pat it onto your eyelids, it can be used without rubbing. Only a small amount is needed, so I think it's very cost-effective. I used to have trouble with eyeshadow accumulating in my double eyelids, but using this solved that problem! I wish I had bought it sooner!
