What it is
This slightly larger brush is recommended for applying eyeshadow over a wide area.It can also be used with cream eyeshadow.Bristles: PBT (artificial bristles).The soft, animal-like artificial bristles are washable and easy to care for.

How to use
Apply eyeshadow to the brush and apply it to your skin. [Care Instructions] After each use, wipe off any dirt with tissue or other wipes. If the tip becomes very dirty or feels rough to the touch, wash it with warm water. Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo to the tip and gently rub it in. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Wipe off any excess water with a towel, reshape the tip, and dry in the shade.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

Of the several eyeshadow brushes available from Chacott, I purchased 084, 078, and 091 on Beauty Day. 084 is the largest size I've purchased, making it easy to use when applying eyeshadow to the entire eyelid. It's made of synthetic bristles, but since it's a Kumano brush, it's gentle on the skin. However, it can sting at certain angles. The brush handle is shorter than I expected, but it's compact and I think that's fine. 089 seems to be even larger, but this size was enough for me.
I use it as a base color for my eyeshadow. I love the soft, comfortable brush! I was also able to apply my usual eyeshadows well.
It has a lot of bristles and fits easily to the eyelids. It's not itchy and feels good on the skin, so the eyeshadow color, adhesion, and staying power are good. I also use it as concealer. It's convenient because it can be used for multiple purposes.
The bristles are firm and not thick. I think it's easy to use. I personally prefer bristles that are a little stiff, but those who like fluffy bristles may find this different.
The brush is firm, so I thought it might be a little hard for my sensitive skin. However, I'm sure there are people who like that kind of thing, and since I bought it online, I didn't know how it felt on my skin, which was a little disappointing.
