I bought the lightest color, but it feels a little darker. The yellow seems too strong. The texture is neither too heavy nor too light. Personally, I think the feel is okay for the price.
The Tom Ford liquid I'd been using had become hard and difficult to spread in this cold weather (it spreads better if I warm it up, but I'm busy in the mornings and don't have time), and I was running low on it. Since I use Parure Gold Skin Double Veil Primer as a base, and there were no stores nearby and I was worried about choosing the right color, I decided to buy it, trusting that it would be fine since it was the same brand as my base! My skin tone is slightly yellower than average, but the 0.5c shade didn't feel strange. The texture is a bit creamy but not heavy, and it spreads easily. A half pump is enough for my entire face. Parure Gold Skin Double Veil Primer alone makes my skin look beautiful, but it also gives it a more refined look without feeling too thick. It doesn't hide blemishes, but it doesn't dry out during the day, even in this season, and it doesn't clog my pores. I'm so glad I bought it!
I received a variety of samples while shopping at Guerlain. I immediately tried the primer and foundation, and they provided just the right amount of coverage without feeling too thick, and the texture looked fine, so I went out and purchased the full product. The beauty advisor who applied the sample said that this color (0N) was perfect, but it seemed a little yellowish to me. When I purchased the product, a different beauty advisor (a makeup expert) suggested that 0.5C might be better, so I had her touch up half of my face. I rarely remove makeup from under my eyes to touch up, but since it's a good foundation, I was careful. 0.5C was brighter and clearly suited me. (My skin is a warm spring bright with a fairer complexion.) I used 1/2 pump for half of my face, and then an additional 1/4 pump for the areas I wanted more coverage. I also filmed a video showing how to apply it with a brush. I love the glossy finish and wanted to use Meteliot Beauté, so I had her try it on half of her face, applying powder (micro powder) before applying Meteliot Beauté, and then applying it without powder. I preferred applying it without powder, so I didn't buy the powder. I have a variety of powders at home. She said using a sponge is not recommended because it can be uneven. If it's too thick or uneven, it's a good idea to cover it with your hand and blend it in (the warmth of your hands will help it adhere better). To touch it up, I patted it down with tissue and then dusted it with powder, or used cushion foundation. I tried it out a few times. After using my full skincare routine (booster, lotion, whitening lotion serum, wrinkle serum, La Mer day cream, sunscreen and color-control primer since I was going out that morning), I applied Guerlain primer. I used Givenchy Prisme Libre powder. I finished with Meteliot Beauté, and immediately developed wrinkles (I applied too much...). The next day, I used Kanebo's day cream as my sunscreen, cream, and primer, and switched to NARS loose powder, and my fine lines didn't stand out even after a while! I need to find a day cream with a high SPF for summer. For now, Albion, Covermark, Credo, and SUQQU are my options. Guerlain's beauty advisors are very responsive, allowing me to contact them by email or SMS with questions and to learn their working days. Sorry for the long, pointless post.
The finish is glossy, but it feels a little off on my skin. On days when I wear glasses, the areas that come into contact with my eyelashes tend to get touched up quickly. I'd like to try switching to a different brand of primer.
It has high coverage but adheres to the skin without feeling thick.
