* Always keep the sponge clean before use. If the sponge is dirty or the surface is hardened, it may be difficult to finish cleanly and dirt may be difficult to remove from the sponge. * If the sponge becomes dirty, use a neutral detergent and wash it by gently pressing it with your fingertips, then rinse well and hang to dry in the shade. (Avoid using hot water or soaking the sponge.)
