I had been using a brightening emulsion until now. I was focused on whitening, but I was also concerned about dryness and age-related changes in my skin, so I switched to Century Prime, even though it's more expensive. I thought emulsions would be sticky even after absorbing them, but Century is amazing! It absorbs into the skin so smoothly that it feels smooth to the touch. It does feel sticky, but my skin feels relaxed after applying it, and I use the serum, lotion, and other products in the line. I feel like my skin condition is improving the more I use it, so I think it's right for me. I would recommend it to anyone with age-related skin concerns.
This is a sample of Towany's Century. Century Prime Emulsion II has a fairly light texture, but it thickens when applied to the skin, and it's a wonderful emulsion that you can enjoy the scent while massaging. It makes my skin feel finer. The great thing about Towany is that even a small amount is enough to leave skin moisturized. I'm convinced of Century.
I bought the old packaging because it was on sale. The lovely scent is soothing and makes me feel good. I also like that it's moisturizing but not sticky. I'm glad I bought it.
I used a sample. The texture itself is softer than I expected, and it doesn't feel rich, but it does moisturize well. It absorbs well, but it's a shame that the surface looks shiny. It feels a bit like a high-end lotion from a while back.
When I told the beauty advisor, "I use cream after toner," she said, "Because they have different purposes, you should always use emulsion after toner." She gave me a sample. Apparently, it's actually better to use cream after emulsion, but when I asked, "If you had to choose one, which would it be?" she said emulsion. It's true that this moisturizes my skin enough to tighten it up, but it's a bit sticky. Considering how sticky it is, it's not that moisturizing. I use the cheaper Serum In Cream, which isn't sticky but still provides excellent moisturization and is very easy to use. Serum In Cream > Prime Emulsion... However, Serum In Cream is 10,450 yen for a 30g refill, while Prime Emulsion is 12,650 yen for a 100ml refill. The emulsion feels like a better value. But I'd still go for the cream. It has a strong scent and is a bit sticky.
