The L'Oreal Paris Elseve Extraordinary Oil Airy Silk is the answer to the most common hair oil frustration: wanting the finish without the heaviness. Reformulated to be 16 percent lighter than the original Extraordinary Oil, it absorbs into damp or dry hair almost instantly — no dragging it through to blend, no greasy palms after. What you get on the hair is smoother, more controlled movement, with a surface that reflects light rather than looking coated. The squalane base helps regulate internal moisture balance, which is what keeps hair from expanding in humid conditions throughout the day — useful for anyone who blows their hair out straight and wants it to stay that way past noon. How to use
Dispense 1 to 2 pumps of the L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Oil Airy Silk into your palm and rub hands together to warm and spread the oil evenly. Apply from the mid-lengths to the ends of towel-dried hair before blow-drying, working through sections to ensure even distribution — avoid applying directly to roots to prevent a greasy appearance at the scalp. For a finishing touch, use half a pump through dry ends after styling to add shine and tame any remaining flyaways. For pre-wash use, apply a generous amount through dry hair before shampooing, leave for a few minutes, then wash as normal. For UV protection throughout the day, apply a small amount to dry hair before going out.

Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I have thin hair and a lot of volume, but it's not too heavy and keeps it together. I had the impression that this series had a strong scent, but this isn't the case. If you apply a generous amount, you can use it for styling, not just before drying your hair.
I bought this together with the L'Oreal Paris hair mask. It has a nice smell and is soothing. Usually when I blow dry my hair, it gets frizzy and tangled, but when I use this oil and then blow dry it, it stays together so well that I'm amazed. Above all, it feels completely different to the way my fingers run through it. I also like that it's not sticky.
I bought this because it has a nice scent and is reasonably priced. I use it in combination with oils sold at salons, so it's definitely worth the price, but it's my favorite out of all the drugstore oils.
It's moisturizing, but if you accidentally apply too much it becomes sticky. It's hard to control the amount.
I bought this product because the reviews were pretty good. I applied about 3 pumps, so long that it didn't reach my shoulders, and it made my hair incredibly smooth! I could especially feel it while I was drying it. The scent isn't too strong, so it's easy to use. I was so impressed that I had to comment.
