I received this as a gift. It's a brush specifically for the Eclat Tan Gel Foundation. I was able to apply the foundation more naturally and evenly using this brush than the included puff. I think it especially enhances pore coverage. The bristles are synthetic and easy to maintain. The design is cute and uplifting, but it does feel a bit cheap. It's made of plastic and is lightweight.
The brush is not irritating to the touch, so it doesn't hurt when you swirl the foundation.
How to use the "Foundation Brush" - Point 1. With the longer bristles facing up, hold the brush lightly as if holding a pencil, and gently stroke the surface of the foundation in one circle to coat the entire brush. One circle covers about half of your face. Blend the foundation by tapping and stamping, focusing on the high points of your cheeks and areas you want to cover. Glide the brush in circular motions to blend the foundation all over your face. The "Foundation Brush" has just the right amount of stiffness and is easy to use, and the bristles fit snugly into the fine details of your skin's contours, ensuring an even, even application of foundation without the need for technique. It also has a reassuring adhesion like a thin veil, and is resistant to smudging.
I won a giveaway from Suzykirei, thank you very much. I was excited to try out this brush specifically for Eclat Tan Gel Foundation, as I'd only ever used a sponge before. When I used it, it spread beautifully and evenly. I was very surprised! I was impressed that there was no unevenness typical of brushes, but I couldn't help but feel a bit prickly. Also, maybe it's because I'm not used to it, but it's hard to pick up foundation, so it might be hard to cover small areas (like the nostrils). However, for those who don't like a thick layer and want a natural finish, it's a good option as it can be done quickly.
