I received a sample when I purchased a point makeup item. It's positioned as a dewy foundation, but it adheres better than the so-called dewy foundations of today, and I felt it created a radiant, semi-matte, and refined complexion. As you can see in the photo, the liquid spreads quite smoothly, but it adheres quickly, so you need to spread it quickly. Also, compatibility with your primer is important. I feel like some foundations tend to be more prone to uneven application. Even though it's a dewy foundation, even when I apply it all over my face, it doesn't make my face look flat, and I felt like it maintained my facial definition. This is where Tom really shines. And if it pairs well with your primer, it doesn't smudge at all. Amazing. The packaging and the formula really lift my spirits, but the price is a bit steep, so I'm unsure whether to repurchase it in this age of foundation wars.
I was attracted by the high SPF, but the price was a bit pricey, so I agonized over my decision to buy it. I bought the darkest shade, 4.0. It has good coverage and a radiant finish. Finishing with a light layer of powder gives a beautiful finish. It's also moisturizing, and even though I apply sunscreen as a base, I don't get sunburned even during the day. My skin feels moisturized and not tight after cleansing. It's like a serum-like foundation that allows you to apply makeup while also taking care of your skin. Lightly pressing it down with powder helps prevent makeup from coming off.
The previous poster's post was very helpful, and I was able to narrow down my choices without a tester. I purchased the linen shade 2.5 online. It turned out I made the right choice. First of all, this was my first Tom Ford, and the bottle is made of glass and is incredibly heavy! I own several department store liquid foundations in glass bottles, but this one is by far the heaviest. It's not ideal for carrying around. Also, the cap is magnetic. I occasionally see magnetic lipsticks, but this was my first time seeing a magnetic liquid foundation. I'm a woman in my 50s who is always impressed by everything lol. I originally wanted an SPF 50 liquid foundation, so I was very happy to find it at Tom. Surprisingly, it's hard to find an SPF 50 liquid foundation. Even if you do find one, it might not suit your skin type. While I was blown away by the gorgeous gold and black packaging, one pump felt like too much. Personally, two-thirds of a pump was just right. It sets so quickly! I quickly spread it with my hands and fingers. It left me with a soft, matte, and refined complexion. It gave me the texture I really liked. It's a Tom Ford product, after all. It was pricey, but I'm glad I decided to buy it. It lasts longer than Décolleté or Lancôme, subjectively speaking. In fact, it didn't come off at all from morning until I took it off. The scent isn't as strong as Décolleté or Lancôme. Once you get the hang of applying it quickly, it's the ultimate liquid foundation. Made in Canada. Just owning and using it makes me feel excited. This is what department store cosmetics should be like. This and Koh Gen Do's liquid foundation will get you through this winter. It leaves a semi-matte finish, so I recommend it for men who don't want a shiny look. I'll definitely buy it again. But it seems like it will last me about a year. The cost performance isn't bad either. I'm glad I found it. (*^_^*)

I received a sample when I purchased the eyeshadow base, so I tried it. Amount to use: A small amount is best. Because it's high coverage, it can easily look thick. The sample is 1.5ml, but it felt like it lasted about three applications. Application: It hardens quickly. Below are the results for how it looked on my skin when applied using methods ① and ②. ① Applying with your hands and then blending with a sponge → This results in unevenness. ② Put a generous amount on your hands, apply it to a moistened teardrop-shaped sponge, tap the center, and then spread it outward → This results in a thin, even application. Although it's less cost-effective, a sponge is definitely the best way to achieve a clean application! Because it's a foundation that adheres well, it feels like it stays firmly in place even after a long time. However, I use a dermatologist-prescribed acne medication, which left my skin flaky and didn't improve my skin's appearance. (It should improve skin on normal skin, lol.) The scent is luxurious and not unpleasant.
