Kiku-Masamune Sake Brewing Sake Moisturizing Facial Cleanser for Men, 150g (Unscented)

I'm a repeat buyer. It's finally available in stores at Kawachi Pharmacy. I'm so happy I can buy it so easily! --Previous review-- I've never seen this in stores in the Kanto region. Men's all-in-one products are available here and there, though. I ended up buying it online at Suzykirei. It's a lathered gel, and it has no fragrance. I thought it would be a safe cleanser without any alcoholic notes, but... it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after washing. My husband, who used it before, also said so. It's less dry than typical foaming cleansers. I find most foaming cleansers dry my skin in the winter, so this seems promising for me. I'd definitely consider repurchasing it. However, due to its difficulty in obtaining it, I'm giving it a minus one star. It's a real shame. I wish it was at least available at Suzykireistore, Loft, or Tokyo Hands.

I bought this for my husband because it was about half price at Aena. He uses Biore's gel face wash in the morning, so I thought a gel would be better, but this lathers up quite a bit... It's a clear, soft gel, but it lathers up when you spread it on your face, so it takes a while to rinse off. I didn't experience any skin problems like tingling. There's probably no fragrance, but I was bothered by the unique smell of the ingredients. I wouldn't be a fan of this for myself, but my husband has no complaints about it, so it seems to be a good fit.

I bought this for my husband, but out of curiosity, I tried it myself. It's a clear gel that can be used as is or lightly lathered up for shaving, which I thought was convenient, and also because my husband likes alcohol. I also chose it because the women's line seemed popular. It creates a lot of light, glistening foam, so much so that it feels like you could make soap bubbles. As I was talking while washing my face, a bubble about 15cm in size came out of my nose, which made me laugh. I have the impression that men's facial cleansers are more thorough in their removal, but this one leaves me feeling clean and moisturized, and I could use it myself. My husband also said it cleans his pores and leaves him feeling refreshed.

My husband's skin was flaky after a bath, so I bought this as a moisturizing face wash. It seems to be gentler on his skin than the cheaper foaming face washes he had been using.
