Daily scalp cleansing helps promote healthy, bouncy, and lustrous hair from the roots up. It's silicone-free and natural, yet cleanses thoroughly without harshness! It uses amino acid-based cleansing agents that are gentle on hair and scalp. Even stubborn styling products are cleared with just one shampoo, leaving hair feeling smooth and bouncy with a smooth, non-squeezing wash.. Scent: A refreshing, addictive oriental fragrance. The sweet scent of rose geranium, ylang-ylang, and lavender add a touch of greenery. It's finished with a touch of patchouli, reminiscent of binchotan charcoal.

How to use
Take an appropriate amount in your hand, apply it to your scalp, and gently lather it up. Massage your scalp and hair with the pads of your fingers, then rinse thoroughly. The recommended usage is 1 pump for short hair, 2 pumps for semi-long hair, and 3 pumps for long hair.

Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I bought it because the reviews were so good. I've only used half of it, but I don't think it's that great for the price. My hair is still dry and rough, and difficult to manage. The salon-exclusive a cote series I've been using is cheaper and works better for me. This may be harsh, but it's just one person's opinion.
I used a sample. I suffer from dry, itchy scalp. I ordered a sample based on this review. The results were a bit mixed... I felt a bit itchy. My scalp remained dry. I also felt a bit rough. I think it's a good product, but I don't think I'll buy it again.

It's so good I bought it again! As the name suggests, it's a jet black liquid shampoo, so at first I was worried that it would stain my hair, but once you lather it up, it turns into a pure white foam, so there's no need to worry. Even though it's silicone-free, it's not squeaky and lathers well, so I think it's okay to use a relatively small amount. The aroma is also soothing (*´ω｀*) The ylang-ylang oil, which is said to be good for female hormones, is very good.

(With shampoos containing silicone, the shampoo feels like it sticks to your hands forever.) At this point, my hair is already soft and supple, and the hair oil I applied last time is gone, returning it to its natural state. Next, I rinse. Even after rinsing thoroughly, my hair remains smooth and not rough or tangled. It's clear to the touch that it's returned to its natural state. Finally, I used my usual commercial treatment, and it absorbed exceptionally well and penetrated rapidly. I'm looking forward to seeing it after it dries. As I dried, I was surprised to see that the shampoo had removed excess hair, giving it a great shine. I blew it as usual, but the brush glided smoothly through to the ends, and it felt so smooth it felt like it wasn't my own hair. It's been a while since I've used a shampoo that leaves my hair feeling so smooth and elegant from the start of washing to the end of drying. It leaves my hair smooth, shiny, and not stiff, and it's a high-quality shampoo that doesn't mess with silicone. Even after half a day, my hair is still in excellent condition, and I don't feel any dryness on my scalp. It leaves my hair feeling shiny and smooth, and it retains just the right amount of moisture, so I have no complaints!
