I bought this as a similar colored purple makeup base from another company that has since been discontinued. If I apply too much, my face looks a little white, so I apply a little less. It has a smooth texture without being matte.
I bought this because it was ranked highly on LDK. I've been using blue primers from IPSA and CANMAKE up until now, and I was satisfied with how they kept the redness down, but I wanted to try a purple, so I bought Lilac Berry. I'm a warm-toned skin type, and when I apply it, it makes me look quite white. It's probably best to apply a thin layer or use it on specific areas. It has a more matte finish, but it doesn't get shiny even after a long time. I tend to get quite shiny, so in that respect I like this one better than IPSA or CANMAKE. Personally, I probably won't use it as my main primer, but it would be nice to have one.
It's lavender in color. The texture is neither too loose nor too hard. Applying a thin layer to the face line and under the chin may prevent the skin from looking white. It tones up well. It's neither drying nor sticky. Rather than applying it all over my face, I spread it little by little in the center of my face.
