What it is
High-quality foundation brush that is gentle on the skin and the environment POINT 1 Feels and finishes like animal hair The Veggy brush was born with cutting-edge technology, the first of its kind in Japan. Using TAfrE. R. , which is gentle not only on the skin but also on the environment, this brush is of a quality comparable to high-quality animal hair, and is made with great care. *TAfrE. R. is an environmentally friendly fiber that contains some plant-derived ingredients. Skin contact The surface of the hair is unevenly processed, and the tips are soft and delicate like animal hair, so it feels very smooth on the skin. POINT 2 Powder color and adhesion to the skin The surface of the hair is treated with a cuticle like animal hair, so the powder can be evenly absorbed deep into the brush, allowing the powder to be applied evenly to the skin. POINT 3 Powder-holding 3D crimping creates space inside the hair bundles of the brush, just like animal hair, allowing it to hold powder securely. POINT 4 Kumano brush craftsmen in Kumano, the birthplace of high-quality brushes, handcraft each brush A collaboration of cutting-edge materials and traditional Japanese techniques Kumano is known worldwide as a producer of high-quality brushes. Traditional brush craftsmen handcraft each brush from selection to finishing. A high-quality brush with tightly packed mesh has been completed. The ideal size for applying mineral powder and mineral foundation easily and beautifully without straining the skin. The beautiful and smooth curves that take the skin into consideration are the result of carefully handcrafting each brush. The brush is smooth and gentle on the skin. This foundation brush, which is made with great attention to stiffness, hair density, and curves, is sure to be of use for a long time. POINT 4 With the brush, you can easily achieve a polished shine without straining the skin, and a sheer, close-fitting finish. The brush reduces the strain on the skin caused by friction, so you can easily finish your application while reducing the strain on your skin. In addition, by applying it to the skin as if polishing it with a brush, it adheres better to the skin, resulting in a more natural and lustrous finish. Foundation fits evenly to every corner of the delicate unevenness of the face. We especially recommend using a brush for those who feel that foundation does not usually adhere well to the skin. How to care for it. If the powder does not adhere well or you feel irritation to your skin, wash the brush to use it for a long time. 1. Put lukewarm water in a bowl, etc. , dissolve soap and make soapy water. Put the bristles of the brush in the soapy water and wash gently by shaking it from side to side. 2. When the soapy water becomes cloudy and you confirm that the dirt has been removed, squeeze the tip of the bristles tightly. At this time, do not pull the bristles, but just squeeze them tightly. 3. Replace the lukewarm water with clean water and wash off the soap by shaking it from side to side. Replace the lukewarm water and wash off the soap until the lukewarm water is no longer cloudy. After rinsing thoroughly, squeeze the brush out of the warm water, wrap the ends of the bristles in tissue or a towel, and squeeze out the water. 4. To finish, tap the brush several times to remove the water from the center of the bristles, and then slide the brush over the tissue or towel about 10 times. 5. If possible, dry the brush with the bristles facing down. If this is difficult, lay it flat on a tissue or towel to dry.

How to use
1. Gently tap the surface of the powder brush to load it with powder. 2. Using the back of your hand or a tissue, glide the brush 2-3 times in a smooth motion to evenly distribute the powder. 3. Apply the powder along the contours of your face. Start by applying powder to the largest areas. (After applying it to one cheek, take some powder on the brush again and apply it to the other cheek.) 4. Once you've finished both cheeks, the remaining powder on the brush will be enough for a beautiful finish. 5. Finally, quickly blend the powder outward along the hairline and the edge of your neck. 6. After use, wipe off any remaining powder on the brush with a tissue and store it away. For increased coverage, apply more powder to the areas you want. Instead of sliding the powder over the area, pat the powder onto the area and apply it.

I use it with Essence Mineral Moist EX. It's gentle on the skin, and with just a little pressure, I can apply even a small amount of foundation without any tingling sensation. I'm glad I bought it. Since you only need a small amount of foundation, it seems like it will last longer, which is also nice. I read a review from someone who used the same foundation with the 201 brush from the same series, so I tried it out, but I felt that the 201 brush didn't quite adhere well to the sides of my nostrils, so I preferred this brush for applying foundation.
It's thin and can be applied evenly. I bought another one to have as an extra wash.
I no longer use Mineral Essence Moist, but I still use this brush when applying loose powder, powder foundation, and pressed powder. I use it quite frequently, almost every day. I find this brush easier to use than the included brush for Clinique's Even Better loose powder, which I use in the summer. I pour powder into the cap, swirl the brush around to blend the powder, and then apply it all over my face. If I were to lose or break it, I would feel a huge sense of loss. On April 13, 2017, I purchased the online-only set with Mineral Essence Moist EX. It's said to use plant-based bristles, but the feel is similar to Esprique's brush. The densely packed, fine bristles seem to cling to the skin. Looking closely, I can see that the brush is rounded, so it doesn't stick to my skin. Even when I applied it haphazardly, it applied beautifully to my entire face. Mineral Essence Moist EX is so sheer that I'd like to try it with other powder foundations to see if it would produce such a beautiful finish. Using it in combination with Mineral Essence Moist EX was extremely good.
I bought this because a makeup artist actually used it for touch-ups and got a beautiful finish. When I applied Earth Control Clear Powder with this Brush 101 in a circular motion, it made my pores look beautiful, which was great! While other brushes also work well with circular motions, this brush's short bristles can be used upright, so I think it's best suited to circular application.
Addendum: Sorry, I'm lowering the rating by one. Because the bristles are dense, they caused some peeling in areas where the skin is thinner (in my case, my chin). I don't recommend using it if your skin is thinning (><). That said, the quality of the brush itself is good, so I still recommend it for those with stronger skin! ====== ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== ==== I purchased this to use with Mineral Essence Moist EX. With a puff, the product tends to apply thickly, but with this, it applies thinly without any technique, which I like. It's a little hard, so I don't really feel the lymphatic drainage effect. I think it can be used with powder foundations other than Mineral Essence Moist EX. One thing I'd like is if it came with a carrying case.
