What it is
Its light texture makes you feel like you're wearing bare skin. Despite being a powder, it blends into the skin over time, leaving it with a moist texture and a moderate glow. It's designed as a foundation that also provides skincare. A natural ochre color. [POINT 1: Foundation that supports skin recovery] MiMC's commitment to its foundation is its high concentration of skincare minerals (zinc oxide). While mineral foundations are made with a blend of several minerals, MiMC's foundations contain the highest concentration of zinc oxide, a mineral that supports skin care. [POINT 2: Two types of mineral powders provide dual UV protection] Two types of minerals (zinc oxide and titanium oxide) block UV rays, a major cause of all skin problems. Zinc oxide is specifically blended with multiple carefully selected types to effectively block "A" rays, which are present even on cloudy days and can cause skin damage. It also protects against chronic UV problems (SPF19 PA++). . "Moisturizing Powder": Moisture (sweat) and sebum can pass through the tiny gaps between the mineral particles, leaving your skin feeling light, just like bare skin. Over time, the mineral particles blend with your skin's sebum, creating a moisturized texture and a subtle sheen. . "A Beautiful Finish, Easy for Anyone": While mineral foundation is typically applied with a brush, the majority of Japanese people use brushes. Taking into consideration the risk of powder splatter and the need for touch-ups on the go, we've adopted a special puff-type container. Anyone can apply foundation easily in a flash. It also comes with a mirror, making it convenient for on-the-go use. . "Looking like your bare skin is radiant": MiMC was developed by cutting-edge Japanese makeup artists to create colors that flatter the Japanese skin. Available in both natural and high-coverage styles. The exquisite color selection, which doesn't look heavy even when layered, provides coverage without losing its natural look, and is the result of the dedication of Japanese female makeup artists. Recommended items: Mineral Moist Powder Foundation SPF19 PA++ (Mini Jar) - Also available in a jar for those who prefer to apply with a brush or puff, or for those who want to try it out. I bought the jar type. I've tried mineral foundations like Only Minerals, Etvos, and Ventorte, but none of them suited me... This one also looks great when first applied, but it loses tone and breaks down quickly. Powder foundations like this don't contain surfactants, so they seem to be gentle on the skin, but I'm concerned about them breaking down with dryness and sweat, and my tone is affected, so it doesn't look beautiful, which is a shame... My favorite is still Liquidly. This one does contain surfactants, and since I use the Utsugi method, liquids are said to be bad for me, but I'll avoid as many other ones as possible and accept this one...
Is it because it's difficult to use? It seems to have mixed reviews, but I love it! I also use Etvos, but I think this one is easier to use and has a better finish. I'm using the neutral shade. Etvos Matte Smooth #35 is my skin tone, but I'd prefer it to be a little lighter, and the mimc neutral shade is perfect, almost matching my skin tone. The sunscreen doesn't seem to be very strong, so I apply a primer or sunscreen and then pat this on. I tilt my face slightly upwards and pat... Honestly, it's hard to tell if it's on or not, but it definitely gives the illusion of a thin veil of makeup. It naturally covers pores and uneven skin tone. It doesn't leave any round puff marks or over-apply in one spot, resulting in uneven coverage. I barely need to touch up my makeup after lunch, just wiping off any oil with a tissue, and I don't have to worry about it smudging or dulling. It's expensive so I always hesitate to buy it, but when I use it, I think it's great! This is my favorite!
It has a natural feel, doesn't make you feel like you're wearing makeup, and gives a beautiful finish to your bare skin. It's easy to apply by patting it on from the top and is easy to carry around. It blends naturally, so you don't have to worry about your makeup coming off and it blends in with your bare skin.
For those with fair skin, 101 is the only choice, but it is a shade that leans more towards warm undertones. This is the first simple mineral foundation they released. The pom-pom type is difficult to use, so I transfer it into a separate powder container and use it. It's suitable for natural makeup.
I'd been using the jar type, but it was prone to uneven coverage...and the reputation of the pom-pom type hadn't been great, so I was hesitant to try it. But then I thought, if you can't tell if it's on your face or not, does that mean it's extremely light? So I decided to give it a try. The pom-pom type blush from etvos was pretty easy to use, but I found it difficult to tell if the natural glacé UV powder was on your face or not. It's tricky when it's not pigmented, isn't it? I apply a thin layer of foundation all over my face, then layer this on where I need more coverage. Pom-pom, pom-pom... What is this?! It applies so beautifully. It applies properly. It applies really well. It applies better than I expected. This pom-pom jar definitely applies more thinly and evenly than a brush or puff. Layering it up gives even better coverage, but it doesn't apply unevenly. It's absolutely excellent. If you want a fuller coverage, I recommend the jar type. Personally, I think mimc's mineral powder foundation is the least drying and least likely to come off under a mask. The powder is moist and not powdery. When removing it, I recommend pre-rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water before washing.
