Recently, there have been a lot of sheer eyeshadows, and I've felt like they're lacking something, so I decided to try Addiction for the first time in a while! 008M is a reddish brown that really defines the eyes, yet is easy to blend. The feel makes me want to try out different shades.
I used Addiction eyeshadow a few years ago and was interested in this color, so I bought it. I usually use a different dusky pink eyeshadow, but this one doesn't seem to make much of a difference. It's cute.
I'm currently using 018M Cassis, 020M Bad Card, and 102M Resemble. ●User (I): I have slightly sensitive skin with inner dryness. My skin feels roughest and driest in the spring, and I sometimes get flakes around the tip of my nose and mouth, but my eye makeup tends to smudge. ●018M Cassis: A matte berry purple. It was advertised as a bluish berry pink, but when I apply it, it turns out almost red (ah, the blue-absorbing kind...), so I layer it with 004T Night Groove. The powder is light and slightly moisturizing. ●020M Bad Card: A jet black matte with high pigmentation that's easier to use than it looks. I was torn between this and 010C Black Beach, but I decided on this one because I thought it would be disastrous if black smudged. Creams, apart from the base, require a bit of courage... The powder is light, adheres well, and doesn't flake off. Personally, I find it easier to blend with my fingers. ●102M Resemble: A limited edition color from the 2021 Spring Collection: THE MORNING DEW Vivid ruby red. Strong color payoff and blending to create a sheer or matte finish with a translucent finish. The powder is light and doesn't flake off. *I have sensitive skin that often experiences itching and breakouts, but I haven't had any issues with this product. *Note: No brush or tip included. Purchased from ADDICTION. *Price (tax included/official): 1g: 2,200 yen. *Ingredients: Varies depending on the color, so details omitted. *All product information in this article is current as of the date of posting. Even with eyeliner, my double eyelids are still wide, so I apply this color with a slightly thicker eyeshadow brush. I bought this because I was running out of the one I was using before. The powder is of good quality and moisturizing, so I'm not good at eye makeup that's gentle on the eyes, but if I feel like trying other colors, I'll buy Addiction again♪
I heard they were going out of production, so I bought several at the last minute. Some of them are no longer available, and I regret not buying them sooner. It seems they're no longer available in stores, so I read through these reviews and used everyone's advice to make my purchases! 1st: Winter Clear 2nd: Summer Bright I don't like dull skin, I like bright colors, and I don't like too much yellow or blue. I chose 002, 004, and 008 as brown shades that would look good on cool undertones. Layering them too much makes them look too dark, so they don't suit me, but applying them thinly works. However, they don't have much presence, and it makes you wonder if you're wearing anything, so maybe I could have done without these browns... 004 in particular is a bit yellowish. 013 is a coral shade, and it suits me. I like it. 028 is a deep red. It's good as a finishing touch. 030 looks stylish even as a single shade. I love it! I still feel like I'm not quite getting the hang of it, so I'll keep studying!
