I bought this brush because when I had my eye makeup done by a makeup artist at an event, she gave me a beautiful finish with color placement, gradation, and blurring. Since using this brush, my eye makeup has improved, and I've been reminded that tools are important.
It's soft!! Does it apply lightly? If you want it to be darker, you can add more. The powder doesn't stay on the brush for long, so you don't have to wipe it off with tissue! You can move on to the next color right away! It's thin, which is great. It's big enough that it doesn't spill over the lower eyelid...it makes it easy to spread eyeshadow...thank you. The brushes from 10 years ago were hard, but this one is...good!
I bought this after seeing an artist try it on at an event. There are two types of round eyeshadow brushes, the thinner one. I thought I'd heard it could also be used for eyebrow makeup (or maybe I was mistaken), but I use it for eyeshadow. This thinner one is used for applying dark colors like eyeliner to the double eyelid. Simply applying dark eyeshadow with this brush creates beautiful shadows, especially on the outer corners of the eyes. I don't think this one brush is enough. You'll need the larger brush to create beautiful gradients. In that sense, I think this brush is more suitable for those who aren't good at applying eyeshadow, rather than those who can do everything with just one brush, as it's a great item for those who don't know how to apply eyeshadow properly and easily. I'm happy with how it adds a finishing touch to a gradient. I won't be repurchasing it anytime soon, but I'll consider repurchasing it if it starts to wear out after use and washing.
I feel like brushes from different manufacturers are easier to use. I don't need to go out of my way to use this one.
The small blending brush is in the center of the photo. I was particularly attracted to the long handle, which makes it easy to hold. Also, because it has a matte finish, I think it's relatively easy to get dirty. The blending brush is round, and the small size is a size smaller than the large size. This one is more often used for applying eye color to the inner corner of the eye or applying makeup to the lower eyelid, rather than for blending eyeshadow.
