I don't have a very good impression of whitening products because they don't have enough moisturizing power, but this one has completely changed that impression! I used a sample, and it absorbed well into my skin. Even though it's a refreshing type, it felt surprisingly moisturizing for this time of year in midsummer. (It may not be enough outside of midsummer.) I used it together with lotion, and my skin felt somehow better the next day, which is a good impression. The ethanol scent was quite strong the moment I applied it, so if you have sensitive skin, you might want to try it out first. The ethanol scent fades relatively quickly, and then the floral scent of the product itself is very soothing. I'd like to try the moisturizing type as well.
I bought this when it was first released and this is my second purchase. I chose a lighter version because I find moisturizing products too sticky. It's light, so I apply it with a cotton pad. It feels light, but also moisturizing. It doesn't feel super moisturizing, but since I'm also using DEW serum, it doesn't bother me too much. I've been using a different brand of lotion for a while, so I'll write another review if I notice any changes.
My husband gave me the moisturizing version of this product as a gift some time ago, and I loved the feel and even wrote in my review that I would try the very moisturizing version next, but I forgot about it while using other products. I remembered it recently and decided to buy this one after all! I thought I should buy it again, but I ended up buying the refreshing version. It's a very watery liquid. I have extremely dry skin, so this is not moisturizing enough and I can't do anything about it. I'm sure it's not moisturizing enough even in the summer, but it feels good to press onto my face with your hands after a bath. I noticed that the moisturizing version helped to remove dullness, so once I finish one bottle, I'll make sure to buy the very moisturizing version to avoid making the mistake. But I like this one too, as it feels comfortable to use.
I like watery lotions and wanted something that could also whiten my skin, so a Kanebo beauty consultant recommended this to me, so I used it in the summer. It's watery, but it doesn't really absorb into my skin. It feels firmer, which is a good thing, but it makes my skin feel tighter, which is a bad thing. I don't particularly like the feel of it, so I won't be repurchasing it. However, I didn't experience any itching or stinging, so it's not bad.
