What it is
This facial soap is made with rice koji, the secret to beautiful hands of master brewers. Its soft, bouncy lather, combined with rice-derived moisturizing ingredients (rice ceramide, daiginjo extract, and rice bran extract) and exfoliating baking soda, gently washes away dullness and dead skin cells, restoring skin's clarity.

How to use
Soak the soap in plenty of warm water and lather it by rolling it around to incorporate air. Apply the lather starting from the T-zone, where oil is most prevalent. Gently rinse with lukewarm water (around 30°C) without scrubbing. Don't forget to moisturize after washing your face!

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I used a foaming net, and it wasn't sticky, but rather a very light foam. It doesn't have much of a scent, so it's easy to use, and it makes my face feel brighter!
I have skin that is prone to blackheads on my nose and is also prone to dullness. I was looking for a soap type that I like the feeling after washing and has good value for money, and I found this inexpensive soap that seems good for exfoliating. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and doesn't dry out my skin. I use Aleppo soap at night, which has a natural clay-like scent, so this soap has a strong scent for me. It has a typical soapy scent. I haven't had any skin irritation so far. I don't think I'll be buying it again, but I think it's a good, inexpensive soap.
As with all Pelican soaps, I feel that it thoroughly removes dead skin cells. It is gentle on the skin, moisturizing it while washing your face. The dullness is disappearing day by day, and I often look at my bare face in the mirror and think, "Oh, it's beautiful, that's strange (lol). " I think my skin has become clearer. It lathers very well and creates a fluffy foam that blends well with the skin. As is my custom when using face wash soap, I tried washing my body with it. I tried it again this time! After using it on my body for a few days, I feel that my skin is becoming smoother all over.
I bought this for my body. I'm into unique soaps, so I try out a lot of different soaps. I don't know the effect of rice koji, but I personally like it for its gentle foam and gentle scent.
I bought this because I was worried about my skin becoming yellowish and dull after giving birth. I generally prefer soap over body wash. My skin is not that sensitive, but I don't feel any particular irritation. I'll wait and see how the dullness goes.
