It's great because it's inexpensive compared to other enzyme powders. It's not sticky but cleanses thoroughly and is comfortable to use. It comes in a large amount, so it's great value for money.
If you're looking for a scented enzyme cleansing powder, this is it! It's also great that it comes in 32 packets, which is more than other brands. When I take it out of the box at night, I think to myself, "I need to buy more because I only have a few left," but by the time I get out of the bath, I tend to forget about it because of skincare, hair drying, and my plans for the next day, so this is a great point. It lathers well and removes sebum without making my skin feel tight, so I like it. My favorite Sekkihadasui enzyme cleansing powder was discontinued, so I thought I'd try this other product from Kose, and I loved it.
The stick-shaped packaging makes it easy to use. The powder is refreshing and doesn't put any strain on the skin.
I received a packet of sample at a drugstore and tried it out. The powder has fine particles, so it lathers well and creates a fine lather. It seems to have a strong cleansing power, but it's gentle on the skin and doesn't irritate at all. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed after rinsing. However, I didn't feel any dryness. The scent is subtle and only faintly noticeable.
I like enzyme cleansing, and after trying out Seven-Eleven's Sekkisui Enzyme Cleansing Powder, it exceeded my expectations, so I bought Le Cheri and use it occasionally. It's a good value for the price, with a generous amount. At first, I thought the enzyme cleanser would make my skin feel dry, but it doesn't. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed, something I don't get with regular cleansers. Washing my face every morning and night seems like it might be too harsh, so I think using it once a week is probably best. The foam is crisp, like light snow. Those who use thicker foaming cleansers might find it a bit overwhelming. You don't need to wash thoroughly; just blend it in like a cleanser and it leaves a refreshing feeling. I use it the night before when I want better makeup application or on days when I want a more refreshing cleanser. Le Cheri has a strong scent, unusual for a Kose product, so I think it would be even better if they improved it.
