In the summer, I use Esprique's spray-type BB cream, but I found that it didn't provide enough coverage and it was a pain to clean the sponge every time, so I bought this. I work outside and sweat a lot, but it barely comes off, and even when I blot the sweat with a handkerchief, it doesn't transfer. I sometimes use Maquillage's liquid cream, but with that, I start to sweat skin-colored within an hour. I think I'll be able to get through midsummer with this and the powder.
I turned 50 and began to feel dull, so I tried various things. At Esprique, I found the Eclat series, discreetly located at the bottom of the shelves, aimed at people over 50. I thought I was still young, but when I tried it, I was hooked! I had the color touch-up done at the KOSE counter. Hot flashes make my face red, so I went with OC405. Pink ochre is fine if it doesn't make me red. Beige turned orange, so I couldn't use it all over my face. I think the finish is better with a touch-up. The coverage is just right. It has a natural brightness and natural coverage. I really should have gone with the Eclat series from the start; I liked it so much that I also bought a powder foundation. I think both products address dark spots and pores separately. Personally, I think both are just okay, but they don't dull my skin, so I think they look beautiful. If they break down, I can blot them with a tissue and lightly pat them with a Roji Rosa black puff to fix it. If it's really bad, I sometimes use a thin layer of powder foundation. Prior's formula is too strong for my dry combination skin, so I find this series to be better. I'll definitely be buying it again.
I used to use Maquillage liquid makeup and thought it suited my skin, but as I got older I started to feel like it wasn't quite enough. Then I tried a sample and thought, "This is it!" It has just the right amount of shine, a color that suits my skin, and it's great because it doesn't feel thick or cakey and doesn't smudge easily! I plan to stick with this for a while.
I don't usually wear makeup, but I started to notice a slight dullness around my eyes, so I decided to try this. It perfectly covered the dullness around my eyes! I also tried it on my nose, but it made the pores on my nose stand out even more... It didn't suit my skin, and my skin peeled off. (The area around my nose is sensitive, and most foundations do this, so it's not the product's fault!) The makeup around my eyes stayed in place until the evening and came off easily with cleanser, but the area around my nose is a mess, and none of the cleansers I have seem to work, leaving it in my pores... Hmm. On the other hand, I've been using a cream that covered my nose nicely but didn't do a great job of covering the dullness, so I'll try using it in combination with that for a while.
When the heating is too strong, my face gets hot and my makeup can come off, so I bought this because it's said to be resistant to sweat and oil. [Feel] It's not a shaker type, but rather a thick one. It has a fairly oily texture, so it's moisturizing even in the middle of winter. [What I like] It's moisturizing and didn't cause fine wrinkles around my eyes. The high SPF is also a plus. [What I don't like] The Kose Ochre 405 I used before wasn't as dark... This one feels comparable to the standard shade. (The Prima Vista Ochre 03 shown in the photo is closer to my skin tone and helps to reduce dullness.) Also... yesterday, it was 17 degrees, which is quite high for winter, and combined with the heating in the department store, my makeup came off and I looked almost bare-faced... [Summary] Since this is winter, I probably wouldn't recommend it for people who get hot easily or who have oily skin even in winter. Still, it was unexpectedly disappointing that the color was as dark as the standard shade.
