What it is
It dries quickly and creates a strong, firm film, creating a beautiful curl from the first coat. The gently curved brush lifts lashes easily, curling them more with each coat. Maintain a beautiful curl all day long. It creates delicate, supple, and separated lashes without clumping, creating a striking, voluminous, and striking look. Unlike typical fiber-containing mascaras, this formula contains ultra-fine fibers, creating naturally beautiful, light, and long lashes that look just like your own. The film-type formula firmly coats lashes and is resistant to sweat and sebum. It maintains a beautiful finish even over time, without smudging or dripping under the eyes. The film-type formula can be easily removed with warm water without straining lashes. It contains treatment ingredients, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, and Hybrid Rose Flower Extract.・Contains panthenol and biotinoyl tripeptide-1 to protect and strengthen eyelashes, protecting them from damage caused by makeup and cleansing.

How to use
1. Wipe the liquid off the inside of the curved brush with the opening of the container, making sure not to apply too much to the brush. 2. Using the inside of the curved brush, press the brush firmly against the base of your lashes, following the curve of your eye, and apply the product in an upward motion, lifting your lashes. While lifting your lashes with the brush, hold the brush at the base for a moment before applying the product. 3. After applying the product once and letting it dry slightly, apply another layer, lifting your lashes again, to naturally lift your lashes and create volume. (For more volume, apply more layers.) 4. For shorter lashes, use the tip of the brush to apply the product in the same way, lifting your lashes upward. 5. Applying the product thoroughly to your lower lashes will make your eyes appear even larger. When applying to your lower lashes, look up at the mirror to make your lashes look upward, making it easier to apply the product.

Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

The liquid is smooth, easy to apply, gives a moderate amount of volume, and doesn't clump easily, so far it feels good. It doesn't have much curl power, but the curl retention is average. There's nothing that makes you think, "This is it!" when you first apply it, but there aren't any disappointments either, and I think it's great to use without any stress.
I bought this when I was purchasing another Watusa product. I didn't have high expectations (sorry), but it turned out to be a better product than I expected. I like that it washes off with warm water and leaves a refined finish. This time I simply purchased the black one, but I'm interested in the other colors too.
It's a deep purple, and the color doesn't look off, so it's easy to use. The volume and length are decent. I don't like products with a lot of fibers because they tend to tangle my eyelashes, but that doesn't happen with this. Maybe it's because I'm at an age where my natural eyelashes tend to droop, but the calf-holding power is a little weak. Other than that, it doesn't make my eyes look panda-like, comes off with normal cleansing, and is easy to use. However, many Watusa products are being discontinued, so I wonder how long I'll be able to buy this product.
I always have Blue Violet in stock. This is the first time I've bought black. There are a lot of "separating" mascaras these days, but I prioritize volume, so I love this mascara. I'll definitely buy it again.
I've been using Watusa mascara for the past 15 years. I absolutely adore both the black one I already own and the brown one I just bought, so I'm sharing a review and photos. I've tried a lot of different mascaras, but I always end up going back to Watusa because I think it's the one that covers it all. First of all, it doesn't smudge! It doesn't lose its curl! It adds length, but it doesn't flake off even after a while. I recently took a makeup lesson at the Watusa Omotesando store, and here's a photo of my eyes six hours later. I used two mascaras: black on top and brown on the bottom. Just one coat on each side gave me incredibly lush lashes. I was surprised to learn in the lesson that the key to making lashes look long and lush is the shadow on the upper lashes. The key is to apply the upper lashes so that the shadow appears beautifully at the base of the lower lashes! I was a bit confused, but when I looked in the mirror, I was convinced! I thought the more I layered the lashes the thicker they would look, but the weight of the mascara couldn't withstand it and the curl just fell off (lol). I learned that the angle at which you curl your eyelashes, the angle at which you apply the mascara, the color of your eyeliner, and how you apply it all play a role in creating thick, lush eyelashes, and I realized how complex makeup is.
