My eyes sometimes sting when I try to remove mascara with cleansing oil or mascara remover, so I've recently been trying out point makeup removers. There are two things I'm looking for: mascara that doesn't sting and has a strong hold, and whether it can remove multiple layers of primer. This Lancôme remover also passed the test. It has a rose-like scent. Incidentally, the only removers I have that pass the test are those from Dior, Saint Laurent, and this Lancôme remover. Chanel seems to have become less effective after the renewal, so it's a no-go, but Bifesta stings. Just for reference.
I think this is the ultimate point makeup remover. I apply it to a cotton pad around my eyes, and it even removes mascara with ease, which feels great to use. When I use point removers, especially when removing eyeshadow, I often end up with swelling and a messy double eyelid, but since I started using this, I've been able to achieve the double eyelids I want every day! Apparently, the gentleness is due to the Japanese Formula, a unique formula developed by Lancôme for Japanese skin. It's cute with its light blue appearance, and the subtle rose scent is pleasant, making me feel luxurious every time I use it. It's a bit pricey for a point makeup remover, but once you try it, you won't want to go back.
I've been using this spot remover for over 20 years and it's become an indispensable tool. There are many different types and price ranges of spot removers, and while there are certainly good ones, I feel most comfortable using Lancôme's Bi-Facil. I use a mascara remover that doesn't come off with hot water, so a remover is essential, but I always feel a bit uneasy using other removers. They may remove the mascara, but I just can't feel safe using them. So, I always end up going back to Bi-Facil. It never stings or hurts my eyes. It's the type you shake and then apply to a cotton pad. When I'm wearing heavy makeup, I use one remover for each eye and eyebrow, but when I'm wearing light makeup, I can use one remover for both eyes and both eyebrows. I hope Lancôme keeps selling this product!
I've been using this for over 25 years. It removes eyeshadow quickly and waterproof mascara well. It's also gentle to use. I once tried Dior, but went back to Lancôme. I'll keep buying it unless something better comes along.
I wondered if it was worth spending that much on makeup remover, but a friend gave me a mini-size sample and I loved it. I bought makeup removers from various brands, but Lancôme was by far the best. I've been dreading smudging on my eyelids, so for the past few years I've started using a makeup remover to remove my eye makeup. Chanel makeup removers are great, but they can sometimes feel a bit oily afterward. Lancôme's is refreshing! But it doesn't dry out my skin and removes makeup thoroughly. I love the non-greasy feel of this product, because I want a refreshing feeling when removing makeup. I sometimes find it annoying to shake it before use, but if I don't, it doesn't remove much makeup. Shake it vigorously. I also love the scent. It smells like Lancôme. The bottle is pretty big, so I wish they'd make a smaller version. It removes both mascara and eyeliner in one swipe, but it's not irritating, so I recommend it. Don't be stingy, use a cotton pad to soak it. I think it's the original and pinnacle of point makeup removers. I'm calling it the origin of makeup removers, but honestly, I don't think everyone uses point makeup removers. But I definitely recommend you try them. It's great because it completely eliminates the need to scrub around the eyes.
