I received this as a gift from Suzykirei. When I use it, I can feel my skin becoming more radiant. And best of all, it has great coverage! It covers the blemishes and dullness of my skin as a woman in her fifties. It may be better than the liquid foundation I'm currently using. I received this as a gift from Suzykirei! I love Koh Gen Do sponges, but this is my first time using foundation. I also tried cushion foundation when it first became popular, but it was so sticky I avoided it. With this, just a thin layer gives a perfect finish. I use a Maquillage primer and just powder after foundation, and my skin stays perfectly hydrated until the evening. I didn't notice any dullness either. However, as other reviewers have said, it doesn't hide blemishes or pores, so you'll need a concealer or pore primer. It was generally good, so I'll keep using it.

It spreads softer and smoother than a cream foundation and provides more coverage than a cushion foundation. This type is great because it doesn't get your hands dirty. The first time I used it, I combined it with my existing primer and felt like my pores were more noticeable. The second time, I tried using the sample The Skin Wake Fermented Primer (Wisteria) on my cheeks, where pores are more visible, because I thought it would make my face look chalky if I used it all over my face.
