I've tried a variety of foundations, including Shiseido's serum foundation, Wake Make's balm foundation, and Fee's cushion foundation, but they just weren't quite right. They would dry out my skin, or they would look beautiful when I first applied them, but by the evening they'd be messy, so I was a foundation refugee. I finally bought this foundation on my way home from the salon, and it was surprisingly good. First of all, the color is perfect. I have light skin with a pink undertone, so color 21 was perfect. It has a beautiful dewy look, and it applies beautifully with just your hands. It doesn't dry out my skin, doesn't smudge, and has just the right amount of coverage. It was my favorite type. I have dry desert skin, so if I use a primer to prevent smudging, this might be fine even in the summer. The powder has good reviews, so I'm thinking about buying it! I highly recommend it for people who like dewy skin, don't like too much coverage, and have dry skin!

It looks nice when spread. However, it separates quite a bit. Even if you shake it vigorously, it separates, so you need to blend it in with your hands before using it.

It came with a sample when I bought the powder, and I liked it so much I bought the full version. First of all, it spreads really well. It's dewy and covers my skin, which has many skin problems, beautifully without being too thick, making it look like someone with beautiful natural skin. It's particularly good at covering pores. It doesn't crumble easily, so all you need to do is blot it with a tissue and apply powder. I think many reviews of this foundation have mentioned separation, and in the sample it certainly did seem like the oil and foundation separated. However, the actual product is divided into two layers in the bottle, so I shake it lightly before use and haven't noticed any separation whatsoever. I personally have no negative comments.

I have fair cool undertones. It's moisturizing and has just the right amount of shine. It provides some coverage, but the finish is natural and makes my skin look very beautiful. I finish with powder in areas where I'm concerned about shine. Even the lightest foundation seems a little dark, so if you're someone like me, By Your 17 Tone might be easy to use and blend well.

It fits perfectly and doesn't feel thick, making it look beautiful! I was unsure which foundation to use, but this looks like it will become my favorite.
