Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I tried it at the counter and was impressed. It's soft on the lashes. And it curls the lashes in a "J" curve, not a "C" curve, towards the tips. It's the perfect finish for me, as I don't like lashes that lift up from the hairline. It's pricey for a curler, but all of SHU's tools last a long time, so I have no regrets! Would a different curler have been okay? I thought the more expensive ones would give a stronger curl, but I don't think there was much difference. This one has great curl retention and is easy to use, so I'll keep using it until it breaks!!
It gives an even finish from the roots, so just using an eyelash curler can change the look of your eyes. It gives a beautiful finish without much effort, and applying mascara makes it even more beautiful. It has great staying power and looks beautiful, so I'll definitely be buying it again!
I was originally using a Maquillage eyelash curler, but I switched to Shu Uemura for some reason, and this one seems to create a more natural curve! I thought it would give a more elegant finish!
I've been using the Shiseido eyelash curler for decades, and I thought it was about time to replace it, so I bought the highly acclaimed Shu Uemura. It didn't suit me. Maybe it's because I've been using Shiseido for so long that I'm used to it... Having tried both, my impression is that if you want a firm, defined curl from the roots, Shiseido is the way to go, and if you prefer a more natural curl, Shu Uemura is the way to go. The Shiseido eyelash curler suited me, so I ended up buying a new one, but the Shu Uemura one didn't pinch my eyelids. So, I thought it might be easier for first-time eyelash curlers. Since everyone's eyes are different in size and shape, you won't know which one suits you until you try it out. (By the way, the Jill eyelash curler I bought a long time ago because I thought it was so cute didn't suit me either.)
