Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I wonder how long this has been around. I've been seeing it for quite a while, so it must be a long-selling product. It's a styling lotion you buy at the salon, and it's one of the more expensive ones available in stores. This is by far the best. I buy it over and over again. I don't use it for curls or blow-drying, though. I like it because if I spray it on as a base for a chignon, updo, or loose hair, and finish with any wax or hair cream, it leaves my hair shiny and not messy. I can't get that to work with other base lotions. The scent is nostalgic and crisp.
I have short hair, so every morning I get a terrible mess of bedhead. Until now, I'd lightly wet my hair, spray on a mist-type leave-in treatment, and then blow dry, but it didn't quite get the right flow, which was frustrating. But since switching from the treatment to this, I'm so happy. It's also cheap. I'll definitely be buying it again.

I've been using it for a while now. After towel drying your hair after shampooing, spray generously and dry it with a hair dryer. By scooping your hair up with your hands and directing the hair dryer's air at the roots to dry thoroughly, your hair will become soft and fluffy, and even wavy hair will be well-groomed. It has a subtle fragrance, so even if you use it generously on thick hair, it won't bother you. Also, when used in conjunction with the cape, it lasts much longer. It's advertised as being for blow-drying, but it's also very effective when using a curling iron. [Addendum]...However, compared to Ichikami's hair mist, it does feel a bit dry...?
