I have thick, coarse, curly, dry hair. I get my hair straightened once a year, and I also color my hair, so it's pretty damaged. I usually use Aujua's Inmetrie Shampoo, but it's expensive and I'm not sure if it's really repairing my hair. So, I saw this recommended on Instagram, bought a trial, and gave it a try. Reviews said the shampoo doesn't lather well, but it lathered up like crazy, almost to the point of wasting it. (Maybe it's because I only use milk when styling my hair and I pre-wash thoroughly.) It leaves a firm, slick finish after rinsing, so it's easy to tell when it's finished. The conditioner is quite mild, so I removed a lot of moisture from my hair before applying it. On the first day, I wasn't impressed after rinsing, but by the third day, I noticed that it was incredibly smooth and silky. I'm drying my hair less and less with each passing day, which I think may be because my hair is getting more nourished. I'll definitely be buying it again. I bought the bottle set. If it gets worse with continued use, I'll update my review. Anyway, I'm so glad I found it!!! The flyaway hairs are gradually decreasing, and I've even developed an angel halo?! I feel great! As an added bonus, I find it easier to distribute the conditioner all over my hair if I apply it more firmly between my fingers than in the palm of my hand, and work it in from the nape of my neck like I'm tying my hair in a ponytail.
I have curly, naturally curly hair that is prone to frizz and tends to be dry. Lately, I've been using this series by Kimura Soap exclusively. I've used both Type A (moisturizing) and Type B (smooth). Both were good, but I think the moisturizing Type A suits my hair better. I color my hair frequently and use a hair dryer a lot, so it's always prone to damage, but since I started using this shampoo and conditioner, I feel like the damage has been reduced a little. I also like the elegant floral scent that's different from other companies' products. I can't live without it, so I'll continue to use it.
I have long, straight, black hair that I've never dyed. It's on the thin side, so even a little humidity can easily make it frizzy. It's been about two weeks since I started using this product, and it's soft and manageable, even in the rain! You might not notice much of a difference in the first week, but keep using it. It has a refreshing, not-too-sweet scent that lingers faintly!
A lifesaver for curly hair! Kimura Soap's 12/JUNI is so good that I immediately noticed my hair becoming more manageable and fluffy after using it repeatedly. It even tames my frizz, moisturizes my hair, and leaves it smooth to the touch, which I'm happy about! I've always had trouble with frizz and bedhead when I wake up in the morning, but since I started using this, I've noticed such a big change that I think my bedhead might even be getting better. It's definitely worth continuing to use, and every time I run my fingers through it after a bath, I think, "I'm glad I bought this." It's a lifesaver for someone like me who struggles with curly hair. I bought both the moisturizing and smooth types and use them depending on my mood.
I bought both the moisturizing and refreshing varieties on a trial basis. I like moisturizing types, so the moisturizing one suited me better, but I didn't notice any noticeable effects, so I didn't end up repurchasing. I think people who really love soapy scents and don't mind them lingering for a long time will like this. However, I don't like scents that linger on my hair for a long time, so it didn't suit me. The scent itself isn't bad, but long-lasting ones get in the way of my daily life, so I personally don't like it.
