Osaji Nuance 眼影盘（H21 Seitennohekireki - A Bolt from the Blue）

Osaji is so cute. I thought the light blue would be a little difficult to achieve, but it gives a translucent look. The pink also hides dullness. I'm glad I bought it.

I recently purchased Osaji's Holiday palette for the first time in a while. To cut to the chase, I'm so glad I did! It was so exciting for the first time in a while. I'll definitely be wearing it a lot this fall. While I'm usually a fan of single eyeshadows, Osaji's Holiday palettes complement my existing palettes (also Osaji), so I've been buying shades I don't own, balancing them with what I already have. Eventually, my storage pouch became overflowing, and since I already had a similar palette for last year's Holiday palette, after much deliberation, I decided against buying it. This Holiday palette is full of Osaji's signature adventurous spirit, a feeling I've been missing for a while now. (Perhaps because Osaji gives me a sense of security, but I tend to buy adventurous shades...) Kaori Nagai and paku☆chan discussed this season's trending blues in a roundtable discussion on the VOCE official YouTube channel about new fall colors, and they mentioned that a grayish color is the golden rule! (On Nagai's own channel, she referred to it as a blended blue.) The more I listened to them talk about it, the more interested I became in the color, so I'm really grateful they featured it in this combination on Osaji's Holiday! (It's sad that it's been skipped again this year...) As an aside, Nagai's poignant story about Heisei Blue was so relatable I burst out laughing! The blue on the top left looks vibrant at first glance, but thanks to Osaji's signature translucency, it doesn't leave a bruise, and using a brush creates a translucent look. (By the way, I'm a cool-toned summer type.) It especially pairs well with the grayish brown on the bottom right! It creates shadows and depth, while also making your eyes look bigger. I use the champagne beige on the bottom left as a highlighter or on my lower eyelid, or layered over grayish brown on my upper eyelid. In the Heisei era, eye makeup using blue made the eyes look smaller and also gave off a very gyaru vibe... In contrast, blue makeup in the Reiwa era, combined with grayish brown, which blends well with the skin, gives off a chic, relaxed look. The grayish brown allows the blue to blend in nicely, making it enjoyable for adults too. Another plus is that Osaji's blue isn't too feminine! I haven't yet mastered the matte pink in the top right corner, so I still have room for improvement in how to make the most of this color.

I was interested in the limited edition holiday product, and it was still on sale, so I bought it. I don't really like the paper packaging, but the photo is very beautiful. As it is called "Nuance," the color didn't show up very well, which was a bit disappointing. As the product description says, I recommend it to those who enjoy the sheerness. I would like to do a bit more research and become more adept at using it.
