This is a hidden gem. It's perfect for work and easy to use. I have thin skin and am prone to redness. I'm also not a fan of products that make you feel like you're wearing makeup. I went to the counter to try out Essence Glow, which I'd seen trending on social media. They told me, "This one is very moisturizing, but it tends to break down easily in the summer and can be oily." They recommended this product to me. It turned out to be the right choice. I was recommended a lighter, yellow-leaning product to counter redness, so I bought it. I think it's best to consult with a beauty advisor about the color. It certainly does eliminate redness and almost completely conceals signs of aging. The finish is slightly matte, lasts well, and I didn't notice any breakage in the summer or winter. By adjusting the amount, it creates a natural finish. I like that it's reasonably priced and will likely last for a year. However, I'd like to try other products now, so I might return, but I don't think I'll be buying it again for now.

Essence Skin Glow seems to be more popular, but it was too oily for me, making it look shiny and not going on well. The Shiseido shade suits my skin, so I tried a sample of this one. I liked the good coverage and semi-glossy finish, so I bought the full version. It doesn't settle into creases even when layered, and I've finally found what I've been looking for! The sample was linen, but it was quite dark, so I chose the lightest shade.

I received a Shiseido primer as a Christmas gift from a friend, so I bought the foundation to use in the whole series. I got the foundation color matched on Suzykirei and used the lotion and cream (primer) I received as samples on New Year's Day. My first makeup look of 2026 was all Shiseido lol. My makeup stayed put for the whole day, and it was so moisturizing! I think I'll buy the lotion and cream next time I get my paycheck.

It seems like it would suit people who want a moderate amount of shine and coverage. It did fall out of pores a little over time, but from a distance it still looked beautiful even after a while.
