How to use

No. The lactic acid is used as skin-conditioning salts to support the barrier and hold moisture, not as a strong chemical exfoliant. It is aimed at hydration and comfort rather than peeling.
What is the difference between the Tuning and Neutral versions?
The Tuning version carries a woody-herbal aromatic scent, while the Neutral version is fragrance-free. The hydrating base is otherwise similar, so the choice comes down to whether you want the scent.
Is it suitable for sensitive or tight skin?
It is formulated to relieve post-cleanse tightness and seasonal roughness with gentle moisturizing factors. If you are sensitive to fragrance, the Neutral version is the safer pick, since Tuning is scented.
Where does it go in my routine?

These estimates are for International Airmail (Tracked) and include 3 to 5 business days of processing in Japan. As of 22 July 2026:

Will I have to pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It might not be enough for people with very dry skin, but I think it suits all skin types. And there's no one who doesn't like this scent lol.
It's a light, watery lotion, but it's very moisturizing. Since it's like water, I thought it would dry out my skin, but it's actually moisturizing when I apply it! I don't like watery lotions, and they often dry out my skin. So, when it comes to lotion, I've always had to choose between a thicker one or not use one at all. But this one is great!! It's moisturizing, and doesn't dry out my skin even after a while. In the summer, I kept it simple with the moisturizing gel from the same series. I love the perfect feel: refreshing, but not drying. I plan to repurchase this lotion.
