The angled cut makes it easy to apply to the entire eyelid, and it doesn't sting, so I love it! It's not too long, and it comes with a case, so it's easy to put in your pouch and is great for traveling or touch-ups.
I've been using less and less goat hair brushes lately. They're firm, hold powder well, and are easy to spread across the eyelids. They blend just right, so I was able to use the vibrant eyeshadows I'd been having trouble with. They come in a plastic case, and the short handle makes them easy to carry around, but they tend to get buried in the brush holder.
I was looking for a diagonally cut eyeshadow brush for the eye socket, and I found this one. I also have a Shiseido NANAME brush, which has a similar shape. I originally used the Shiseido brush as an eyeshadow brush, but now I use it for concealer. I was thinking of buying another one, but then I found a similarly shaped brush from RMK, tried it out, and liked it so much I bought it. The diagonally cut brush allows you to create a gradation with just one brush, and its shape is definitely the easiest to use. The RMK brush is also made of goat hair, which picks up and releases powder better than synthetic hair, making it easier to control the color. What I personally like about it is that the handle is lighter than other brushes. It's easy to carry, and the pressure is transmitted directly as you apply the product. It's also reasonably priced for a department store brush, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an eyeshadow brush for the entire eyelid.
This brush is the same coarse-pigmented brush as the brand's Eyeshadow Brush B, but Brush C has denser bristles and shorter bristles. Its shape allows for a broad, loose application. It delivers vibrant eyeshadow color. It can also be used with harder-pressed eyeshadows. I think it's best for those who prefer heavier eye makeup. Also, maybe because I have bulging eyes, the brush shape didn't fit well on my eyelids. Added January 16, 2025 (★3 → ★5): I've found some affordable eyeshadows that I like but don't always pay off. Trying this highly pigmented brush was a blast. Not only does it apply deeply, but it also beautifully expresses the pearly texture. Using the pointed end, I found it to fit my lower eyelids perfectly, making it a versatile and convenient option.
I bought it for shading, but because it's a little soft, it might not be suitable for applying thin lines to the tip of my nose. However, it's definitely an excellent eyeshadow brush, so I can use it in countless ways, and it turned out to be a good purchase. I've still not had any problems with the RMK cheek brush I bought over 10 years ago, so I trust the quality.
