I used a sample. I soaked a cotton pad in the product and used it. I didn't feel like it removed my makeup thoroughly, but it felt gentle on my skin and left it feeling moisturized after use. It doesn't blend well with makeup, considering the amount, so I feel like I used a lot per application.

I always keep it on hand for when I want to quickly wipe off my makeup. I don't use it every day, but I like that it removes makeup well and because it's a lotion, I can use just this. In fact, I even wipe my skin with it before applying makeup if it feels rough. Curel is safe for sensitive skin, I trust it, and I'd be in trouble if I ran out.
