Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

The price is also reasonable compared to other Avène products, and it lasts for a season. My nails tend to dry out easily, so I use the oil sold separately to condition them. I also bought it as a gift. The recipient was very happy!
It's not too heavy and spreads easily. It's moisturizing. It's not sticky, so it's easy to use. It moisturizes well. It doesn't have much of a skin-beautifying effect, but I'm satisfied. I wish it was a little more affordable.
I wanted to try Avène hand cream, which has good reviews, and I chose this one given my age. I like that it's not too sticky and shiny, which I find easy to use. However, I don't notice any lasting effects. I apply hand cream at night and sometimes wear silk gloves while sleeping. Most products leave my hands feeling moisturized and plump for the next day, but this one doesn't give me that feeling. I suppose it's just a matter of applying it frequently. Also, the tube's outlet is almost flat, which makes it difficult to use. Usually, the outlet is a bit convex, right? This one is almost flat, or rather, concave, so when I squeeze it out of the tube, the area around it gets dirty. I wonder if this bothers everyone? It's not bad overall, but I've tried a few different products, so I won't be buying it again for now.
It has no scent and I love the texture! It's smooth and moisturizing.
