Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I was so impressed by the feel of this lotion when I tried it at a friend's house that I bought it for myself for the first time in over 10 years. This lotion is "neutral" in a good way; it's not sticky and doesn't interfere with other skincare or makeup, but it definitely feels like it sets the foundation for my skin. This time of year, my cheeks and around my mouth get dry and sting from skincare products, but this lotion doesn't irritate my skin and seems to replenish moisture well, so I don't feel dry. I've been using a lot of Korean cosmetics lately, but I think Japanese products, and Kao's ceramide research, are amazing! I'm also happy that it's available everywhere. I'll definitely be buying it again.
My daughters, who are in middle school, use this product, so I buy it over and over again. It's affordable, provides just the right amount of moisture, and doesn't contain many unnecessary ingredients, so I can use it consistently.
I keep using it. Other moisturizing lotions tend to be sticky and don't really seem to penetrate the skin, but Curel is smooth and penetrates the skin, leaving it deeply moisturized. When I use Curel, my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother the next day.
