Update: February 8th: I ended up buying it. I still had some Excia oil left, so I thought it would be fine, but with the consumption tax going up, I decided to keep it unopened and go for it. It was a small sample bottle. Since you only need a small amount per use, it lasted for a few weeks. It has a lovely rose scent. It's not sticky, so it's fine to use it in the morning, but in the summer, it might be better to only use it at night... The oil left on my palm was also fine to apply to my hair. I'll keep it unopened for now. I went to the drugstore in Yodobashi to reserve the limited edition Time Refresher T, which will be released in January, and they recommended the TWANY Etude Luxe Face Up Refresher, which I use because I have problems with dryness, firmness, and texture. They also recommended this oil. You can incorporate this product into your skincare routine on its own, or add two drops to a time refresher and mix it in. While there's a manufacturer-recommended order, it's fine to incorporate it at any time. I'm currently using HABA Squalane Excia AL Secret Formula Oil Natural EX Essence Oil R, so I was a bit hesitant, but then I received a small sample in a glass bottle. I tried it right away and found that the Secret Formula Oil, as many reviews have mentioned, has a medicinal scent, while this one has a rose scent and a ladylike feel. Both are oils, but they blend in easily and aren't sticky. They can also be used as a booster. However, the beauty advisor recommended using Excia only during the dry seasons. She said that the herbal oil or the oil in the red bottle has a lighter feel in the summer. This one is also fine for summer. Prices are here: < Excia AL < Natural EX < Herbal Oil. Since you only need one or two drops, even the small sample bottle was plenty, so this product seems like a great value for money. I think I'll hold off on buying this product for now, but I might be tempted to buy it when I pick up my Face Up Refresher...
I've been using this oil for a while, but I forgot to write a review. I first encountered it at a Towany skincare event at a cosmetics store. It's expensive, so I wasn't really interested in buying it at first, so I'm not sure what the order was, but I think I cleansed it, then used Time Refresher, and then massaged it in with this oil. They massaged it in, using so much that I wondered if they could keep the business running. What really impressed me was how it made my nose swirl and blackheads pop out like crazy. I thought I was taking good care of my skin, so it was a bit of a shock (lol). After that, I lightly applied it with a steamed towel, and after wiping it off, my skin was smooth and bald like a peeled egg, no, not that—it was moist and baby-like. But the price made me hesitate to buy it, so I decided not to, and just got a sample. However, every time I used the sample, the benefits gradually increased, and I ended up buying it. And I have no regrets! This oil doesn't have that cheap, unpleasant stickiness, and a little goes a long way. It's truly versatile, and you can use it alone or mix it with anything. I was worried that oil would cause acne, but my fears were unfounded. My usual methods are: 1. Time Refresher → I mainly use it on my nose, then I remove any blackheads that appear → I massage my face with the oil on my hands → I use lotion, etc. 2. Lastly, I mix it with my lotion in the summer and my cream in the winter. As the beauty advisor said, it doesn't go away as quickly as I expected, and I only use two or three drops at a time, if at all... To be honest, it's been about a year, and I still have some leftovers. Well, I only use it at night, and since I'm lazy, I only use method 1 about once a week, and often skip it in the summer. I'm worried that it might oxidize because it's an oil, but I don't want to waste it, so I still use it. In the winter, using this really keeps me dry. My problem of foundation flakes has been solved. That's why I really want this oil to be sold at half the price and in half the amount!!! And I hope that more stores stock Luxe...
It's so plain, isn't it? There are no photos. Seriously. Kanebo and Towany are hard workers, so please provide some photos... But it's so plain, even the packaging. It's also good for massaging the skin. I used it to swirl the blackheads in my teenage daughter's pores, and they came off when I washed my face. I never knew it could be used like that! But I don't think you can do that with other oils. That's because it blends so well with the skin. That's why it's such a reliable, all-purpose oil.
I started using oil beauty products this season after trying HAKU oil. I had been interested in KANEBO oil water, but a beauty advisor introduced me to this one. Compared to KANEBO oil water, this one penetrated my skin better and softened it better. I'd heard it was versatile, but honestly, that's about it. Even mixing two or three drops didn't plump my skin or anything like that. I use it as a booster and massage oil. As a rough guide, I use one dropperful as a booster, and two droppers for massage. I used about a quarter of it in a month, so I guess the cost-effectiveness isn't great (⌒-⌒; ), but my skin has softened, and the breakouts I used around my chin have disappeared. I used HAKU oil for oil massages, but I still had breakouts, so I think it's the effect of this oil. I think it's a good product, but considering the price and value for money, it's just average. I want to try different oils, so I don't plan on repurchasing it for now.
I usually get a cream massage at the cosmetics store I visit once every two weeks, but they told me they had a great product, so I had this oil massage my face, décolleté, and back. It felt great, of course, but I didn't really understand the benefits of the oil at the time. I was bored that day, so about an hour later, I had my skin analyzed at another counter and was shocked. lol My skin is usually ranked low, but they said it looked five years younger! So, I guess it's worth the price, after all, and I went back to the salon and bought it. I'm stocking it up at the store. If I keep it up, maybe a 10-year age loss is just a dream. The skin analysis results were good, but I noticed some reduction in dullness and increased firmness. Other than that, I really didn't know much about it (^^; Well, maybe I'm just bad with machines, or maybe I'm just a simpleton... I'm the type who gets easily carried away! At my age, I'm not in my 20s, but I plan to keep going to the salon regularly to maintain my current condition and avoid aging.
