I started by searching for stores that stocked it, and found one in a small shopping district within commuting distance. I had no intention of buying it, but I was persuaded and ended up buying it. First, they told me that my cleansing technique was abnormally bad. I also bought a cleanser, but I haven't used it yet because I'm currently using a different brand, so I'll review it later. As for this facial cleanser, I personally find Covermark's foaming much better. However, this one definitely leaves my skin whiter after washing. I didn't use a facial cleanser in the morning, but they recommended using it morning and night, and I'm following that rule strictly. I've only used it a few times, but I think my skin will probably improve with continued use. However, I think cleansers are more about the way they are used than the luxury items. The golden rule is to be gentle and not scrub too much. Even when I'm short on time in the morning, I gently lather my face and wash. I use less than the recommended amount. I've also been interested in Menard's Embellier, and I received a sample, so I'll compare them in a while. I'll definitely try it out in the winter, when skincare routines change. However, I'm a bit stingy with my money, but the sales associates, even though they're older than me, are incredibly skilled. They were products not sold in department stores, but I was able to talk to them at a more leisurely pace than the sales associates at department stores, and I felt really good about their down-to-earth nature, so I ended up buying a few things. However, I was also given some basic tips on how to care for my hair, which I already knew was pretty obvious, and that alone was enough to make it worthwhile. So, I don't think it was an expensive purchase.
10,800 yen is expensive for something you wash off. At my age, a face wash from a department store for around 6,000 yen would be fine. I used this in conjunction with SUQQU's face wash, and the 6,000 yen difference was definitely worth it. This one is moisturizing, while the 4,000 yen SUQQU only washes away. Of course, this face wash was easier to use if you lathered it up with a foaming net.
I've been using it for about three years now. It removes dullness and leaves my dry skin feeling plump and supple after washing. The lotion I use afterwards spreads well too. It's also mild. As for cost, I only need to replace it once every three months, so it's great value for money. I used to get rough skin from constantly changing cheap products, but I definitely don't want to change it again!
It's great! It's expensive, but it's worth it. After washing, my skin is moisturized and white. Just using it makes me feel good. I recommend it!
Twany Century's cleansing cream is excellent, but this soap is also great! It has a soft, fluffy texture, but when lathered, it creates a rich, dense lather. The fine, bouncy lather allows for thorough cleansing without touching your skin. I've always thought that Kanebo facial cleansers are great because they produce a dense, fluffy lather, even if they're not the high-end line. Of course, there are differences. Among them, Century's soap lathers the best, in my opinion. After washing my face with such wonderful lather, my skin feels flawless and truly "barefaced." It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and smooth, it makes me feel like I have beautiful skin. And despite being such a refreshing soap, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly moisturized. I'm amazed at how much moisture it leaves my skin feeling after washing. When I bought it, I thought, "10,000 yen is a lot for a face wash, let alone a cleanser," but the results were so satisfying that I was completely satisfied. When I use it in conjunction with Century's cleansing cream at night, my skin feels amazing after washing. To be precise, I usually cleanse, take a bath, take a deep bath, and wash my face right before getting out. This routine leaves my skin as smooth as a peeled egg. It also helps my subsequent skincare products absorb better, so my skin condition definitely improves. After all, cleansing and washing your face are the foundations of skincare, so simply switching to a better product makes my skin feel significantly more moisturized and supple, even when using my regular lotion and emulsion. It's definitely worth the investment. Twany Century is an undoubtedly excellent line, but it's a shame it's only available at specialty cosmetics stores and isn't widely known. And I hope Century never gets discontinued.
