The color is nice. Some black mascaras turn white over time, but this one stays black all day. It doesn't make my lashes feel brittle, and they stay thick, long, and voluminous. Dior mascara seems to add more volume, but I prefer Guerlain. The brush is thick, but it's easy to apply. It doesn't clump, and if it does, you can comb it out to separate it nicely. It doesn't shed any fibers, but the only downside is that it darkens the area under my eyes a little when I apply it to my lower lashes. I don't mind it if I smooth it out with powder, so I'd like to buy it again when I run out.

I've been using Guerlain mascara for a long time! To be honest, the discontinued product was better. It didn't have the separation I'd expected from Guerlain, but it wasn't particularly long or thick! It smudged a little in the evening, which I've never experienced with other brands, but this one was neither good nor bad! For this price, I'd definitely go with another brand.

I'm in my 40s and have always preferred mascaras that lift lashes with volume, so I've been using Helena mascara for the past few years. This is my first time buying Guerlain mascara, and it's just as good as Helena! For reference, I've included photos of it at 9am (when I first applied it) and 8pm (after work). I use Cezanne mascara as the base. Pros: It gives great volume and doesn't lose volume even in the evening. Cons: It has a strong scent, which is common with foreign brands, when you first apply it (it fades after about an hour). As for ease of application, the brush is thick, so you do need to be a little careful. My coworkers also commented, "Your lashes are lifted beautifully!" I'm so happy to have found a mascara that rivals Helena! It's not ideal for those looking for delicate, long lashes (lol).

I received a sample from Suzykirei and tried it out. I usually use budget mascaras, so I feel bad comparing them, but this one doesn't build up too much, yet it gives a natural, beautiful separation and a sophisticated finish. When I use budget mascaras, I always get black dots around my eyes, like mascara fibers falling off over time, but that doesn't happen with this one. I wanted the real thing. I bought it when Suzykirei was offering a points bonus.
