It really does leave your skin smooth! Surprisingly, even if you apply multiple layers, it never feels too much, which makes you wonder if the color even matters. If I had to say, purple gives a soft, fluffy look. Layering concealer → powder or powder → concealer on top provides a firm hold, so it's great for hiding blemishes! However, it gets quite dry in the winter...

It makes my skin super smooth! I recommend it! I especially recommend using it in the summer. I don't use it in the winter because it makes my skin dry. I have dry skin.

What surprised me when I received it was that the powder was quite blue! lol I had previously used NARS's Refill Powder. I was looking for a better powder than Refill Powder and found this one. Shu has more shimmer and is just as smooth. Shu has color, so it's great for clearing up dullness in the evening! If you ask me which is better, the Refill Powder or this one, I'd say they're about the same... but I would recommend this product to anyone who likes smoother skin!

I was reviewing my base makeup and was recommended this at a cosmetics counter, so I bought it. The particles are very fine and it's incredibly smooth. It supposedly contains sebum-absorbing powder, which made it a real hit during the hot spring and summer months. It's said to be very effective against sebum breakdown, and it barely smudges my makeup, leaving my skin feeling smooth for hours. In the fall and winter, my skin feels drier than other powders, especially since I have dry skin. I struggled to decide on a color, but I ended up choosing the reissued Aotake Blue. The neutral white was also good because it didn't clash with the color of my foundation, but I was told the blue was excellent for creating a translucent look. It contains fine pearls that give a subtle glow, so I think this is the best choice if you're looking for a slightly translucent and glamorous look. I've been using MiraColle for years and trust it, so I plan to switch between them depending on the season. One disappointment: It doesn't seem to have UV protection, so it's best to use it with a primer and sunscreen. P.S.: Depending on what I paired it with, I ended up with a lot of flakes. It may not go well with thick creamy textures.
