[01 Medium Brown] What I like most about this eyebrow powder is its color. While it's labeled as brown, it's actually an exquisite grayish hue. The lighter of the two shades in the palette appears to have a strong brown undertone, but when layered on the brows, it has a natural color without noticeable yellow or red tones, with a hint of taupe. The darker shade is a charcoal gray with a hint of dark brown, which would look good on dark-haired people, and it's a stylish color that doesn't lean toward yellow or red. I use the lighter shade primarily from the beginning to the arch of my brows, gradually gradating the darker shade toward the end. The powder is a little soft and tends to flake off a bit, so when I want to sharpen the end of my brows, I finish with Elegance Eyebrow Slim. I use Elegance GY15 Ash Brown. I also sometimes finish with Tom Ford's Taupe pencil. I dye my hair an ash-blue shade to match my skin tone, so I like to create a grayish brow look, but gray alone makes my brows look dull. So I'd like to add some purple or mauve tones. Lately, I've seen a lot of powder eyebrow products containing purple or mauve, and I've tried a few, but they rarely pay off well—they end up looking orange or too pink. So, lately, I've been sticking to a basic grayish brown for my powder eyebrows, and adding a touch of mauve with eyebrow mascara. I also sometimes apply a mauve eyeshadow shade to the inner corners of my brows. I really like this color, but the applicator is a bit difficult to use, and I'm a bit concerned about the powder flying off. The powder flying off is more noticeable when I sharpen it with the Addiction brush. I often use Dior, which has a compact, delicate tip. For the finishing touch, I use Heavy Rotation eyebrow mascara in grayish beige or dusty mauve. I keep it in a cute paper case with a horse illustration and coloring. I think Paul & Joe's designs are not only cute but also sophisticated.
The powder has a subdued color payoff and isn't powdery. It's not quite waxy, but it does have a slightly moist feel. When I used Chikuhodo's stiff eyebrow brush (which usually draws a sharp line), I felt like the color I applied was scraped off while applying it to my brows. The soft brush from Fuumi applied it well, so you might want to choose a brush. I recommend it for those who like fluffy brows.
It's light. I have high-toned hair, so I'd like a lighter color. I have long nails, so sticks aren't very practical and I don't use them much. I end up using pencils, which I'm used to (^^;
Since I liked the pencil type, I also got the powder type from Porjo. While the pencil gives a clean line, the powder has a soft, foggy finish. I use the thinner 01 to create the overall shape, then fill in any missing parts with the pencil, and finish with Credo's brow mascara. You can connect the brush and screw brush to make it longer, making it convenient for travel. Another great thing about it is that it's refillable and can be purchased at an affordable price. I had a case that I got in a gift set, so I put it in that. I plan to repurchase for the time being.
Despite its compact size, it's very easy to use. There's an eyebrow brush in the middle, and two powder shades of varying intensity sandwiched between them. Both blend naturally, so you can use them individually or mix them together (*^^*) I put it in a case I have with a design of Nuette by Porjoy. Every time I use it, I think it's cute and it makes me happy lol. What can I say about Porjoy's cuteness... It's also incredibly functional, so now that I've made my debut, I have a feeling I'll never be able to let go... lol
