I have olive skin, and I've never been able to find a foundation that matches my complexion, so I've been struggling with different combinations of primer, foundation, and powder. I have a very pale, yellowish complexion, so even the slightest hint of red in my base makeup makes me look tan, so I only use yellow-based powders. I previously tried Make Up For Ever's Banana powder, a yellow one, but it was too yellow and made me look darker. Then I tried Make Up For Ever's Vanilla powder, but it was too white. So far, Banane has the most natural color. The finish is similar to Elegance's La Poudre, with a beautiful soft-focus effect. I recommend it to anyone with fair skin.
I bought Banane. My skin is lighter and warmer, so I prefer a yellow pressed powder that blends well with my skin tone and touches up my makeup (I use a brush because I like a light application). I was debating between this and Bobbi Brown's "Sheer Finish Pressed Powder (01 Pale Yellow, ¥6,160)," but since I have dry, sensitive skin, I went with this one, which is made with rice flour and seems gentler on my skin. It's a little cheaper than Bobbi Brown at ¥5,940, but I didn't experience any dryness and had no issues using it. It doesn't completely eliminate pores, but it doesn't feel thick and is of decent quality. It makes my skin look brighter without whitening. Everyone praised the Bobbi Brown powder mentioned above for its fine powder particles, but I didn't find anything particularly impressive about this Banane. Perhaps Bobbi Brown excels in powder quality, while T.LeClerc excels in gentleness to the skin. T.LeClerc isn't bad, but I get bored of using the same thing all the time, so I want to compare which one is better and think I'll buy Bobbi Brown next. [PS] I bought Bobbi Brown's "Sheer Finish Pressed Powder (01 Pale Yellow)," but it wasn't very yellow, so I'll continue to buy T.LeClerc Banane for touch-ups. The Bobbi Brown mentioned above doesn't feel particularly drying, but as I'm concerned about redness, I find the natural yellow of Banane easy to use and I like it.
I previously tried the same brand's loose powder and it was so good that I also bought the pressed version. It's a thin compact so I can carry it in a small bag, which I'm happy about! It seems to use the same rice flour as the loose powder, so I felt safe using it. I think I'll use this one when I'm on the go and the loose powder type at home.
I've used the same brand's loose powder before and it was so good that I also bought the pressed type. It's a thin compact shape, so I'm happy that I can carry it around in a small bag! It seems to use rice flour just like the loose powder, so I was able to use it with confidence. I think I'll use this one for carrying around and the loose powder type at home.
It's a compact size with a design that makes you happy just by having it. It's thin, easy to hold, and stylish. I use it to touch up my makeup, and I love how it leaves my skin looking beautiful. It's a pretty excellent powder. Perhaps because it's made from rice flour, it feels gentle on the skin. It also completely eliminates pores.
