I was torn between Addiction Skin Reflect Setting Powder and Covermark Face Up Pressed Powder, but both caused redness and itchy breakouts within two hours of trying them on. Est, on the other hand, didn't affect my skin condition, so I went with Est. I compared Translucent and Pearl, applying them to half of my face, and Translucent seemed slightly darker. Pearl, on the other hand, contains a fair amount of fine glitter mixed into the Translucent pressed powder. I was worried that it would look too shiny, but when I applied it to my face, the glitter blended into my skin tone, creating a natural brightness. I liked the result, so I chose Pearl. (However, it may turn shiny in the hotter months, so I'll reconsider if that happens.) The effect is more skin tone correcting than luminosity or coverage. It's thin, but resistant to sebum and seems to last a long time. The case is simple, lightweight, and easy to handle, making it stress-free to carry. Also, since I apply powders with a brush, I won't comment on the included puff. If you're looking for a more luminous, long-lasting effect on your entire face than this product, I'd recommend the Cosme Decorte AQ Aura Reflector, which previously offered Revital Granas Iridescent Finish, but unfortunately has since been discontinued. (Note: I initially tried it on and purchased it in the fall and winter, so the Pearl shade (this product) was just right, but once spring passed and the weather started to warm up, my skin started to get oily and my entire face started to get shiny. That said, I ended up purchasing Lucent (reviewed), which I'd had my eye on from the start, as it left a shiny, but durable finish.
The color is bright and doesn't leave a white cast. It seems to contain a small amount of pearl, which makes the skin look glossy. After taking off the mask, a lot of makeup came off from my nose. It's a shame that it comes off easier than other face powders. I think this is a face powder I'd like to use when I'm not wearing a mask.
The sparkling glitter really gets me excited. I apply it lightly around my eyes.
Three years ago, I switched from EST powder to pressed makeup. It's easy to apply in the morning and leaves my skin looking beautiful. I like that it doesn't require too much application compared to powder makeup. I also like that it's not too matte. I definitely prefer the pearl type. It's not too sparkly and gives a three-dimensional look. It's thin and easy to take with me when traveling. I think it's a great product, worth more than the price.
